The Magician Tarot Card is easily one of my favorite tarot cards in the entire deck, and it represents the way I choose to view the world. The Magician signifies thoughts becoming things, limitless potential, and manifesting the reality we desire through intention. If you can dream it, you can do it, and The Magician Tarot Card has a perspective of unlimited opportunity. Nothing is 'impossible' for the magician, and every one of us have this unique power within ourselves as well.

The Magician Tarot Card is number '1' out of the 22 Major Arcana Tarot cards (Their order is 0-22) and comes right after The Fool card. The Major Arcana follow the journey of 'the fool' as he experiences each of the other cards on his journey through life. While the Minor Arcana cards represent finer details from the 4 suit cards (Pentacles, Cups, Swords, and Wands), The Major Arcana deal in broad strokes and the bigger picture, they relate to major life lessons. Resting on the table are a Cup, Sword, Pentacle (Coin), and Wand which are representative of the 4 Minor Arcana suits, and the 4 elements (Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire). The Magician uses these symbols as tools, and having all 4 at his fingertips suggest his mastery over each one.

The Magician extends one hand into the air, while the other hand points to the ground. This shows the connection between heaven and earth, mind and matter, thoughts and things, or spiritual and material realms. Having both hands pointing in separate directions signifies the equal connection and mastery the Magician has between both sides. Above the magicians head is an 'infinity' symbol, which is my favorite part of the card. The infinity sign indicates the magicians unlimited and boundless potential, and that there's nothing he's incapable of achieving when he sets his mind to something. We all have this limitless potential inside of us, and the magician is a perfect reminder of that.
