Five reasons why you are not where you want to be - No. 5 a secret😉

Well the thing is everyone wants to be great, excel and be rich, be the best. This desire is something that everyone wants. It's an additional package that came with everyone right from birth; having the thirst for all good things of life but then only few people get to satisfy this desire while the many others gets lost while on their way to achieve this which then leads to frustration and then the end is always to give up.

Now I ask you, yes you reading this article right now. Do you want to satisfy this thirst for greatness, financial freedom, good family life and stability? If Yes then I ask again." Are you willing to pay the price? This is a question many people find difficult to answer even those who answer in the affirmative will find it difficult to pay when the price is stated.

1. To be successful physically and spiritually, we've got to pay the price. Let's be specific now. In a scenario where one wants to be good on a job then you've got to work hard, study both at night and day, endure other people tantrums just so that you get what you want but then people don't want to go through all the process. They want everything to come easy peasy, effortless. It doesn't work that way. Many things that we see working out effortlessly someone has worked his or her butts off just to make sure of that. During exams in school that's when you'd see many students running around looking for ways to cheat and pass. You'd see them writing answers in their thighs, hands, taking a paper to the hall and even wearing mask to hide their lip movement taking so much risk. The energy they are using for all this if channelled to some hours of reading, will make them pass but no they ain't willing to pay the price they rather go for shortcuts. Be wiling to pay the price for the greatness you seek.

2. Trying to access the Door without a Key: Imagine that you stepped out of the house without taking your keys, you'd be stucked and stranded outside if you get back. No matter how hard you hit the door, you won't be able to get in unless you've got the keys same thing with success. You can't go through the doors of succes without using the key of right approach. Every aspects of success has it's on rules and you must play by them to get through them. If you're working hard, doing things all right and it's not yielding the required output just know that you're like someone who is hitting a locked door with all of his might which very soon, he'd get tired and feel frustrated but we don't have to go through that. Once you notice this, change your approach immediately. It's a plus if we study others who are in the position where we want to be to know what they're doing right so we can apply same and also discover ourselves. I wrote an article about that (here).

3.Low Self Esteem - Low Self esteem affects many parts of our lives and also prevents us from achieving success even if we've got what it takes(the key). W become cold feet from the failure stories of other persons or intimidated by over exaggeration of how difficult the path is which makes us want to stop in our tracks and give up.

4. Being Ashamed of your desire - This actually sounds somehow in the ears.. someone asked how can one be ashamed of his or her desires? Actually they are people who are actually ashamed of their desires which is an aftermath of Low self esteem. They are scared that people will laugh at them maybe because of the desire is too big or looks unachievable at that instance. Imagine someone who's living in a bamboo house in the village sharing the desire of living in the city in a spacious three storey building that him or her owns to the friends. There's a 99% chances of mockery and even envy but the story of Joseph in the Bible shows an example of one who wasn't afraid or intimidated to the response of his brothers towards his dreams. We should be like that too because there's no limit to what we can achieve unless we set it for ourselves.

5. The secret - In every successful person out there lies a common secret that is actually uncommon in the sense that not everyone knows it. The secret of greatness lies in SERVICE. You have to serve in one way or the other if you want to be great and successful. It follows the concept of giving and receiving. You can't access the success realm without serving. Service can be in many forms like serving a master, serving in a position, serving humanity; providing solutions to problems of people makes even those who don't like you, increase your wealth. If you examine all the billionaires that are making waves you'd notice that they are serving in one way or the other. Are you servicing your society? What value are you adding to people around you? It's actually not foolishness to serve but great wisdom.
