We have New Babies!
**PUBLISHED: JULY 21, 2022** **TIME: 9:35 PM** **ARTICLE #: 162** This afternoon, Oreo, our second cat, gave birth to four kittens. We had never expected that she would become pregnant so soon because she was just a few months old when Luna, her mother gave birth to her. My sister also said that a few weeks ago, Oreo was scheduled to get spayed. However, we were already unsure if she was expecting her first kittens because we could see the growth in her stomach.
I questioned if she was indeed pregnant throughout the first several weeks of her pregnancy. I sometimes felt her stomach and informed my mother that I couldn't feel the kittens moving around within. Since we don't want her to become pregnant, I recently suggested to my sister if we can have her spayed "na lang." However, my mother warned us that it would be cruel to have her spayed before we knew whether or not she was really pregnant, so we just decided to wait and see. Next to Artemis, Oreo is my favorite "meowmy." Oreo is nice and loves cuddling, much like her father, so I always bring her some treats. I advised my sister to get spayed as soon as possible after this pregnancy since we want her to have a longer life. And to be quite honest, because several family members, especially my mother, have allergies, we don't like to pet any more cats. For those who are unaware, there are several advantages to spaying your pet, including a lower risk of cancers, reduced wandering, and no more heat cycles. So, going back to her giving delivery, we noticed her returning to our room this afternoon at 5:30 PM after spending hours hiding. As soon as my mother noticed some blood clots on her genital tract, we knew she had given birth. When she made the decision to run away once again, we followed her, and there we found her four kittens. My brothers made the decision to go collect them right away and put them in a box because the hiding area was dark and had a lot of holes because it was an abandoned house.
They are there, anyway! Except for the other, which has three hues, they are all black, much like Luna, her grandmother. I immediately informed them that because Luna is a long-haired Persian cat, one of them acquired a unique gene.
Here is Luna, their Grandma hihi. The kittens are currently inside their home. Since Oreo seems to be under stress and has a tendency to hide her kittens once more, we have just let her wander free. That was what happened today, in any case. I'm hoping that every kitten is surviving since occasionally defects lead some kittens to pass away. But from what I can see, for now, everyone appears to be in good health. Well... I'm not really sure. Anyway, I really appreciate your reading, and I'll see you tomorrow or at the new conversation! Naturally, all images are mine. hihi.

How cute those cats and kittens are. I am surprised with the cute cat in front of an ice cream, Usagi. One thing I know about cats is that they do not have taste buds for sweets. That is one thing I remember way back when I was in high school while I was answering an online quiz and the question goes as what taste buds are not present in cats. That is why, if you would give them something sweets like chocolate, they would not be tempted to eat. But if you would give me that ice cream, surely I would eat that. Hehe. Nice to bump with this article. I so love those cats.
Aigooo, chocolates can make them die hihi. But yeah, they love treats.
Ang cute naman nila ate pwede ba makahingi or makabili ng kahit isa hehehe.
Kung malapit ka lang aba ikaw una kong bibigyan eh. We don't like selling cats. Nalahian lang nmn sila. For us the same lang naman sila.
