Youth Talents Are the Future Hope

Two videos from rural India made me happy.

I posted one video about two months ago. It was about a two-wheeler that could operate using a solar photovoltaic chargeable battery.

The video didn't detail the electric motorbike and its parts, but it demonstrates the running of the two-wheeler with passengers.

Although there is doubt that the motorbike could run safely with so many passengers, the video proves that the younger generation in rural India has the urge to learn.

Another video I posted yesterday shows a rural Indian boy with a battery-operated fan. He claims a small solar photovoltaic panel can charge the battery and run for about three hours.

The boy may not understand the detailed theory of electricity, motor, and solar photovoltaic charging, but he is bubbling with the desire to learn and experiment with technological appliances.

Young people are the future of the world.

A day before, I had a mini online workshop with Dr. Ramarathnam on "What is Net Zero and How It Works."

• The young boys are from the grassroots of India and don't have the modern laboratory facilities of school education. But they dream of learning and building the future with their own hands.

• Rural Indian youngsters may not know what net zero is and its implication for the globe, but they are aware of the needs of society. Above all, they desire to learn and practice with their own hands.

The governments in third world nations must provide better facilities and resources for educating the youth.

When the next generation has the urge to learn and grow, there is always hope for a better world.
