Writing Rights and Freedom **Humans enjoy some rights and freedom.** The fundamental rights give humans the freedom of expression, speech, and writing. Whether we have it or not, freedom is central to living rights for all living beings - animals, birds, fishes, insects, plants, and even the smaller germs. All living beings obey the fundamental laws of nature. Humans invented religion and politics to create and control tribes. Humans created additional laws to regulate and control society. Gradually, the laws changed in different territorial locations and nations. **The writers enjoy some freedom in writing** We, as writers, have the fundamental right to write and express. When we say writers, we also include them as creators. Content can be text blogs, images, audio, videos, or a mixture of them. **Writers have the freedom of choosing the topics** We can write on any topic. Some content publishing platforms may have restrictions on topics. The platforms have the freedom to impose restrictions on topics, thereby controlling the freedom of the writers. For example, some platforms created regulatory rules to censor blogs on pandemic-related subjects. The mainstream platforms even censored creators and subject matter experts permanently for raising questions against the pandemic, lockdowns, and tyrannical vaccine mandates. **Writers have the freedom to choose the length of their writings** The length or word count of a blog is another parameter. A content publishing platform may have a word or character limit per post. Some platforms may ask for a minimum read time of three minutes. Twitter has a character limit per tweet or post. NoiseCash doesn't seem to have any character limit. ReadCash also doesn't have any restrictions on length, although the platform's algorithmic support is generally extended to articles of longer read time. **Writers have the freedom to re-share their writings on different platforms** Most content platforms give the creators the right to re-publish content from one platform to another, provided those content are referred back to the original published articles on other platforms. Suppose, you have an article published on ReadCash, as the original creator, you have the right to republish it on, say Publish0x, LinkedIn, and elsewhere. But, ReadCash sometimes doesn't like it, and the platform algorithm may erroneously mark you 'auto-flagged' and stop distributing random tips. The digital twins of many creators were treated this way! **Writers have the freedom to keep the copyright of their writings** Most content publishing platforms permit the creators to own the copyright ownership with them. In some exceptional cases, a platform may ask for full ownership rights of content for monetization or payment. I don't one to name any content platform with such rules. But, there are smaller writing platforms, that publish hardcopy magazines, and keep the ownership for publishing content on their platforms. **Writers have the freedom to put their content under a paywall** Some platforms publish only free content, such as LinkedIn. Some platforms can put content under a paywall or free, such as Medium. Odysee-dot-Com is a multi-format content publishing platform that provides creators to publish content free and with a creator-specified price. **Writers have the freedom to leave the mainstream sites** The writers can leave a content publishing platform if it doesn't meet their requirements. Most modern content publishing platforms provide the creators the full right to download their entire content data. Many content creators have been leaving YouTube, Twitter, Facebook due to ambiguous censorship. Writers are joining ReadCash, NoiseCash, Odysee for freedom and better engagement. Closing remarks The rights of the writers and creators are often restricted by the rules and laws of content publishing platforms. Indeed, the publication policy of a content publishing platform can authoritatively rule the rights of the writers and the creators. If writers or creators are not satisfied with the rules and regulations of a content publishing platform, they have to leave the platform and publish their content from their personal content websites. I know a creative creator from the STEM domain, who was a contributing editor of the Linux Journal, left all mainstream platforms, including YouTube, Twitter, Google, etc. He is such a freedom-oriented creator that he couldn't compromise with any platform.
