Who are Your Subscribers? The subscribers are the users who follow you. Today, I read an article by @Talecharm about the subscriber base she got within a short span of a few months here. She refers to her subscribers as friends. Ir is a good way a blogger can directly build direct communication with the subscribers and followers. On LinkedIn, Publish0x, Medium, Twitter, etc., a user can not only see the number of subscribers/followers, but the user can also view the names and contact information of the subscribers. Can you afford to lose the contacts of your subscribers? Do you know about your subscribers? In the last five-plus months, @Talecharm attracted four hundred plus subscribers on ReadCash. This is a great achivement in terms of numbers of subscribers and the time of engagement. Some users have thousands of subscribers here and on NoiseCash. The number of subscribers shows how popular the blogger is on any blogging platform. Even if we can't see who are our subscribers, we can feel their presence on the display, and some time on the engagement. The number of subscribers may help to increase the reach of the published articles by the blogger. When I ask, "Do you know your followers/subscribers?" the answer to this question is not a binary "yes/no." The answer contains a lot of information about the subscribers, such as names, email, etc. Can you contact your subscribers? The most critical situation arises when a blogger leaves a platform. Then, all your subscribers are lost. Another unfortunate situation occurs when some of the subscribers leave the platform. Maybe the subscribers still like your content but can't consume your blogs outside the platform or elsewhere. Having the names and contact information of the subscribers is very important for a blogger who wants to continue as a freelance content creator. The subscribers can remain a life-long asset to a blogger, if and only if the blogger has contact with the subscribers. If you don't own the contacts of your subscribers, then you miss the value of your subscribers. You know whom you follow/subscribe to by viewing the profile. But (here) you don't know who are your subscribers. You DO NOT have any contact information of your subscribers (here). When you are outside the platform, you don't have any way to contact them. Because you don't have any clue who your subscribers are (here). It is high time the bloggers (here) find out a way to have the contacts of their subscribers even beyond a publishing platform. Does anyone have any clue on how to get acquainted with your followers/subscribers and contact them directly other than writing a comment? I don't think we know who our subscriber is here, but when someone upvotes, we guess.This person has subscribed to us
We can see whoever upvotes. We can't know who the subscribers are. So, the subscribers (here) are not yours - but the platform owns them.

I understand. Those are real-world connections and are also members of the platform.
I honestly wish I know who my subscribers are, i know just few of them but not all.... I would have loved to prolong my relationship with them, and it would have been easier for me to always please them
The GUI writes it as "subscribe," but it is an action to "follow." The "subscribers" are "followers" who intentionally "subscribe" to get a free/paid service/product. Here, the product is a blog. Most progressive platforms give the subscribers information to the creators/bloggers.
I think giving social links is the only solution for now to contact each other. The subscriber hidden thing is a huge let down to me. A small feature, but works wonders for bloggers to analyse their account and other things.
Yes. I could contact a few through their social network profiles. The word "subscribe" should be replaced by "follow." Hidden followers can not be considered subscribers.
;) I like it here, the more decentralized this platform is the more exciting it gets everyday. The con's of knowing your subscriber is that, what if your subscribers no longer want to follow your content. It can potentially create hate towards each other, or sumthin like that.
I recognized this "hidden followers" fact and wrote about it earlier. The "hidden followers" is not a decentralized trait but an authoritarian and "centralized" trait of the platform. Many other platforms kept followers hidden from authors, but they have been opening the information to the authors/creators during the last couple of years. The platform owns all information about the users on their web servers. The authors attract followers/subscribers, and hence they should be visible to the authors. There is no question of hate or any dislike. Everybody has the freedom to follow/unfollow any authors at any time.
You are right friend Unity that our real subscribers are also the people who really follow and read poetry here on read.cash, read and leave comments.
The meaning of "subscribe" and "follow" are different.
You can try to be friends with your subscribers and have them follow you or write to you through other blogs or social networks, this way you will be closer to them and get to know them better. I remember we already talked about this, that read.cash keeps your followers hidden so you don't know who follows you or who unfollows you to avoid any kind of problem. What we may think is that people who comment a lot on our articles and who support us are subscribed to us, actually this does not have to be so because many people comment without being subscribed, it is not a condition to be subscribed to someone to comment, but we can have the idea that people who socialize with us, read and comment on our articles many times a month or a week, are the ones who are subscribed to our blog because they are always aware of what we publish. I'm not saying that this is the truth, but it is an idea of knowing more or less who follows you. There are also many people who follow us but never comment.
My point is that the "subscribers" information should be available to the authors. I remember our earlier discussion on the topic. Since the platform has all the information, the "hidden" subscriber list is a useless number. The authors attracted the subscribers, so the information may be available to them.
That is correct sir but how do we get those contact details here unless we ask them to? And I am not sure if most of my subscribers are willing to provide their personal information. Although some of them, I know personally already. Perhaps I should be more convincing to the rest.
There are publishing platforms that have this feature of opting to subscribe with/without contact information. Just displaying the number of "Subscribers" doesn't give any value other than a number for ego-boosting.

We have to invite people to an elsewhere platform with transparent follower/subscriber data.
