Odysee is My Default Video Platform
**What video platforms do you use?** I use YouTube (YT) and Facebook (FB). I watch video content on FB, YT, and also on Vimeo. I also occasionally share videos on YT and FB. I haven't yet started publishing regular video content. Users can monetize content on YT, FB, and Vimeo. It is possible on many other platforms, such as Ramble, BitChute, etc. Nobody talks about the contribution of the consumers, as if consumers will be obliged to consume content! In most content publishing platforms, consumers/viewers/readers are taken for granted that they will anyway consume the content! Consumers only have the option of consuming. Once I have made Odyssey account but still I have not uploaded anything because its verification in my country was not allowed. Now I am hopeful for everything.
You are not correct. Odysee can be verified through Dischord ANYWHERE in the world. After following the steps, one must continue using it for about two weeks, after which the account gets verified! I have done it from India. Verification by phone is available only in the US.
I had heard about Odysee, but I am not a person who watches a lot of videos, I really watch few and most of them are on facebook or youtube. It would be nice when I have internet again to be able to watch your videos and check better how Odysee works.

Yes, it's a great platform I worked a lot there. But later they gave the verification option and that's not run in my country now. It's not verified in my country. I wish it works in my country too.
You are probably incorrect. One can verify Odysee in any part of the world through discord. Check it and follow the instruction there. It is rather strict. You complete the process and wait patiently and continue to log in for a few weeks. If you complete the process of verification and don't log in regularly, you won't be verified. If you send a request message for verification help to the discord group, you may be permanently blocked. I could verify it from India via discord. It took almost three weeks to get verification. Phone verification is available only in the US.

The process seems straightforward but takes a little time. You need to continue to log in and use the platform. Click to verify and go through the discord guideline. You will need one social media account information, such as your Twitter account, to verify your identity. I will try to write a verification process here. I'm happy to hear you say this. I do the same. Odysee is so much better than YouTube already and long term with it's decentralized back-end makes it very robust. It's good to support the right technologies!
