How A Nurse Fabricated Miniature Vehicles
I will collect and share some of the best "Oh my God" or OMG creations!
I wish to call some creations "oh my God" or OMG creations due to their excellent application and unbelievable demonstration.
This article is the first one to tell the story of how a middle-class father reacted when he couldn't afford costly toys for his children.
I am spellbound to know that the father is a full-time nurse in a hospital.
He is always interested in physics and never stops applying his knowledge to fabricate working models of technological beauties.
Please go through the small article, and watch the attached video clip.
The story is about making small toy vehicles!
A father wanted to buy toy cars for his children. When he went to a shop and asked the price of a toy car he liked, he was surprised. The cost of the toy car is very high. The quality of the toys was pretty good. Unfortunately, his pocket didn't permit him to buy.
The father came back home but with a strong determination in his mind. He decided to design and build such toy cars on his own. It was a big decision but his willpower and love for physics said him to go for it.
It is not just a story of making miniature vehicles, it tells about the main motive for a living - the complex life grinding and enjoyment out of all the hard work.
I have decided to write about it because the story is very inspiring. It shows that one can do a lot of things in addition to all the complex and hard work that life gives every day.
Miniature vehicles made by Arun Kumar
Arun Kumar, a resident of Kerala, India designed and manufactured small toy vehicles with exact specifications and features matching the original vehicles.
Arun Kumar fabricated a mini auto-rickshaw, motorbike, and many more vehicle models which can actually be driven on the road.
He made all these for his children. All these model miniature vehicles have been fabricated using thrown-away goods, wastes, and other cheap materials, such as old dish antennae to design the front of the auto-rickshaw.
He designed the small wheels with wood and covered them with rubber sheets to give a working tire for the vehicles.
Of course, he purchased the required DC motors and chargeable batteries from the market. The vehicles also have USB ports to charge mobile phones, and music players to play music from a thumb drive.
Arun Kumar is also a responsible nurse in a local hospital
Arun Kumar is engaged with a local hospital as a nurse. It is his full-time job and he is a dedicated nurse to serve the patients.
His passion for science and physics pushes him to do many things which are not his regular job. He just loves doing those work.
Arun Kumar has a plan to design and develop a motorized wheelchair for the patients which will surmount some problems with commercial wheelchairs.
Arun Kumar spends a good amount of money on his home workshop and tools. His life partner (spouse) is happy to support him in all his technological endeavors.
Conclusion
Life is a short journey for learning, working, earning, and enjoying.
Arun Kumar's story is an example of how one can take part in creative activities connected to life, and bring smiles to others' faces.
The only important point is that Arun Kumar has never stopped learning the basics of science and applied them to create interesting devices and objects.
We can create tech gifts for the younger ones in our home workshop.
Watch the video clip and see a glimpse of Arun Kumar's life.
Postscript
I am surprised to read a comment that "predicts" that "a lot of nurses" would start working in the industry. No, it can't be. All depend on the person's interest, knowledge, and above all skills in certain scientific crafts.
You can repair your household electrical appliances if and only if you have the knowledge and skills of applied electricity and electronics.
A singer may be able to repair his/her car if and only if he/she has acquired the knowledge and skills of basic automobile engineering.
