Generative AI is NOT suitable for Creative Work
Generative AI may NOT be the best for creative work.
AI is a technology in progress and more of a hype.
Almost all technology and Internet-driven companies want to adopt it for business gain (and to reduce human staff).
AI is why many corporate houses laid off vast numbers of human staff.
AI tools lack the creativity and human touch.
I have seen AI-generated content, i.e., text, images, audio, video, and multi-format content.
I have listened to music generated by AI tools.
After consuming some AI-generated content, I realized AI can generate content quickly, which human hands may take a considerable length of time.
But, in AI-generated content, the creativity of a human is missing!
The digital marketing department of a company may run with minimal staff and AI tools. However, this marketing content may not yield the impact that it would have received from human-generated content.
A good director and producer of a movie may NOT accept AI-generated musical scores and songs!
Is generative AI suitable for digital marketing?
People using AI for digital marketing may not be doing the right thing. For persuasive marketing, human content is the best.
I DOUBT that generative AI has any meaningful role in digital marketing.
In this regard, I may seek the advice of Dr. Robert Cialdini, the Godfather of persuasion.
Where does generative AI suit?
If generative AI is unsuitable for creative work, where should AI be used?
One may use generative AI to synthesize robotic content where creativity is not an issue. AI may be used in casual, non-creative, and less authentic content generation.
AI should NEVER be tried in a serious project that requires seasoned technology.
