Change is Proof of Growth and Decay

Nothing in this universe is constant.

If you are an adult, you must have been living on this planet for quite some years. Haven't you noticed almost everything changes with time? Have you seen anything remain constant in the real world?

The small plant that your parent gifted you on your birthday many years ago has grown big. If it were a small mango tree, it must have grown up and started to bear mango fruits.

The puppy you found on the street and requested your mother to take to your home might have grown up. The bushes on the two sides of the lane that end to your family house's door always grow, which your parents and you cut and keep the lane clean.

Time flows like a river. Nothing can get static in the flowing water streams. Even stagnant and clogged water bodies change for worse producing a lot of toxic elements and environment degrading pollutants.

Changes are proofs to show the growth or decay.

Why is change required in our life?

Every moment there is a change in this planet and the entire universe. Changes are inevitable with time. Humans also like to have changes in their lives. As time flows, the existential processes carry on their effects on every entity in the universe. Entities grow, and they start decaying after a specific period.

Changes are inherent to life, the planet, and the entire universe, the true extent of which is not fully understood and discovered. The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West. One day the Sun will also lose its energy and gradually turn colder and colder, and one day there will be no energy left to deliver.

Nothing can escape from change. Sometimes, the ruling political parties and the government administrators forget the basic concepts of life changes. They hope and try to remain in power by hook or crook. The citizens, who are also the voters, can cast votes and change a corrupted government.

From birth to death life is full of changes everywhere. Change is very much part of the existence of every entity in this universe. without fail.

Changes can make life beautiful

Some change makes us happy. What makes us happy? Positive change makes us joyful. It can be related to the growth of a human baby or the puppies of the street dog.

Who forgets the joy of seeing a flower bud blooming. When I first saw an evening flower blooming during the dusk, I got tremendous satisfaction inside my mind.

When the first tooth appears inside a baby's mouth, its parents' joy explodes. When the baby starts to stand holding support, the parents and the relatives applaud into laughter. Think when the baby begins to walk with trembling undulations - that becomes the happiest moment for the parents.

Changes may sometimes make life suffer

Graphics 03: Video by Matthias Groeneveld from Pexels converted to GIF.

Did you have access growth during the humid summer days? I used to have many abscesses growth throughout my body during the hot summer season of my childhood days. It was not at all a chance for enjoyment with the changes.

Once, I had one abscess in the middle of my chest. It grew larger and I had to take the help of a local surgeon to operate it. I suffered for almost a week to recover. I had to take care so that no boy in my elementary school pressed me on my chest.

Thus, changes are always not good and don't make positive impacts. Some changes are hazardous to life. But, those changes are inevitable during living. Nobody can avoid changes in life.

Changes prove that we are not robots

We are very much knowledgeable about artificial intelligence and robotics. The subject comes under the umbrella of science and technology. The machines are empowered with programmable intelligence to help manufacturing and business processes.

It is hightime that humans review what areas of real lives should be tried to change with automation and robotics. The boons of computational intelligence may help certain limited areas but not all realms of human society. The strategy for automation must be to improve human life without affecting the spontaneity.

Do you remember the remarkable film "Modern Times" by Charles Chaplin? The movie had shown enough instances of how automation might be alarmingly hazardous instead of helping. Don't miss the fun in the movie, which has been partially described in one of my past articles, "Do Not Miss Fun in Life."

Video: "Charlie Chaplin - Feeding Machine - Modern Times."

Human and animal lives are full of living experiences. Even the plant kingdom lives with their spontaneous stimuli of life grinding. The natural growth and decay of the universal entities can never be replaced by automation and robotics.

Bringing it altogether

Changes are proofs to show the growth and decay.

  • Nothing in this universe can escape from change. Even the Sun, the planets, innumerable stars, and the galaxies undergo changes with time.

From birth to death life is full of changes everywhere. Change is very much part of the existence of every entity in this universe. without fail.

  • Positive change makes us joyful. It can be related to the growth of a human baby or the puppies of the street dog, or any other entity connected to life, the planet earth, and the entire universe.

Changes are always not good and don't make positive impacts. Some changes are hazardous to life. But, all changes are inevitable during living.

  • It is high time that humans review what areas of real lives should be tried to change with artificial agents, such as computational intelligence and robotic automation. Prudent and cautious applications can make things better.

Adopt changes as an inherent offer of nature and human endeavors to impact society and the planet positively. Develop strategies to overcome the hazardous changes and save the planet earth and the universe safe and self-sustainable.

Sometimes to embrace changes is a long and painful process. Just like in our educational system here in the Philippines. We're adopting k+12 program. It's process or system is new to us. The lessons are spiral that makes us an adjustment in giving instructions to the learners.

K-12 educational system is a good one. Long ago, we also had schools with 11 years of study programs. The 10+2 schooling has now become a standard almost everywhere. The techniques to impart education must improve.

That's a good system. We can globally compet among other nations.

Change is something normal in life, things change, everything happens, for better or for worse, there will always be changes. There will always be the growth of a child that will fill us with happiness, just as there will always be the climate change that one day will sweep away all life that exists.

People change, technology changes and advances, the butterfly changes, something that once was a caterpillar and crawled changes and grows wings and begins to fly, such a radical change, it had to face many problems, many dangers to be able to change.

But you know what hasn't changed? The way of teaching in schools, education has not changed, "the child only learns sitting in a chair in front of the teachers", "the teachers are the ones who know", that has not changed in many years.

Thank you for the detailed observation. This video is viral. It has been acted, recorded, and produced so elegantly. I am a fan of his proactive videos.

Yes, it is really viral that video, but it is also the reality, whether acted or not, it has an approach in which it has realized all the advances that technology has had and education has remained quite stagnant in the same way of teaching, even though the children are still sitting in the same way and teachers "have control", the quality of teaching has declined, instead of teaching better, they teach less than necessary, I understand that the salary of a teacher is very little, but like many things, I would do it for love, for the love of art and teaching I have taught many classes in many places where my payment was little or none, and to live of something where you are not paid is sad, but there are always alternatives, there is always another way to monetize all your effort.

I am sorry for going really off topic which is change, but what I am saying is part of it, sometimes change is good as many times it is bad, as it is easier to do things half way than to do something complete and totally well.

I completely agree with your viewpoints on education, which come under the umbrella of "change.". The teaching domain has been stagnant for many years. The educational institutions follow old and boring teaching methods without any emphasis on interactive learning. Their aim remains to pull money from parents and pay less to the teachers. Their business model is full of cheating techniques. That is why more than thirty percent of children are homeschooled in developed countries, such as the US and Canada. Homeschooling requires time, resources, and knowledge that many parents don't have.

We are human beings. We prefer upgrading ourselves. That's why we need change.

Oh yes, humans expect positive change. Anything on the negative side makes us unhappy. We often forget that changes may occur in both positive as well as negative directions.

This is very true, Unity. The one constant in life is change.

Among us humans and in the natural world around us, there's physical change which you can discern at a glance. It's can be change that's time bound like a flower opening in the morning and wilting by the end of the day. It can be change that's driven by external circumstances so, say, an accident like your illustration of a fire above.

There's mental or emotional change, and that you can see by the way someone matures and the way they learn and grow and approach or respond to different situations. There's also spiritual change or change in energy, and sometimes you can get that sense that kicks in in certain spaces. So, like in a natural sanctuary, there'd be a sense of peace but that energy could change and be different if development comes in.

Automation and technology has certainly also brought change into our lives, in some ways simplifying things and making life easier, but in other ways, this change has also brought complications and has led to increased human dependency. So some people would argue that there's a bit of a trade off there, and, as you rightfully demonstrate, all change isn't necessarily good. I truly enjoyed this article, my friend, and I wish you a good day.

Nothing is constant in the real world. Even changes occur erratically, which sometimes halt as if nothing happened. Maybe, the rate of change of events varies with time. When change occurs faster, only then can we see a noticeable difference. Thanks for your detailed comment.
