SIGHT

If only these eyes could see not just the external but also what’s within.

That way, I can tell the things you’re going through and hiding.

SMELL

If only this nose can smell your emotions.

To detect the scent of your happiness,

or the overflowing fragrance of your sorrow,

I wish to know if you’re about to burst.

HEAR

If only I can hear what has been running through your mind.

To hear how loud your thoughts are.

To be deafened by your silence.

I am willing to listen and hear it all.

TOUCH

Do my words even moved and reached you?

Like a tender touch that means no harm.

To hug you and feel the warmth of joy.

To comfort and console your soul.

TASTE

To savour the bitterness and sweetness of life together.
