Foods to Avoid During Malaria Treatment:

  • Foods rich in fiber

High fiber foods may not feel good on your stomach, so give it a rest. Whole grains, whole dals, and hard-fiber vegetables can cause gas and indigestion.

  • Spicy foods and sauces

Avoid very hot and rich sauces. Chatpata food may sound good, but it could trigger a reaction due to the medication you are taking.

  • Junk food

This is a no brainer! Junk food is a big no when you have malaria. Having junk food can even make your condition worse. Junk food is unhealthy for a normal body, and during illness it can wreak havoc.

  • Avoid caffeine

Excessive intake of coffee, tea, or any strong caffeinated beverage can upset your digestive system.
