In addition to meat, vegetables can also act as a blood enhancer that can help anemia. Not only contain high iron, vegetables contain vitamin C, vitamin B complex, to zinc which can help increase blood.

Eating iron-rich food sources can help maximize red blood production. Of course this can prevent and overcome anemia. Generally, sources of iron come from animal side dishes, such as beef, chicken, and eggs. However, there are many vegetables that can also act as a blood enhancer.

For those of you who have a history of anemia, and you are a vegetarian so you avoid foods made from meat, you can eat the following vegetables to increase the production of red blood in the body so that iron levels in your blood will be maintained and stable and will not cause anemia. What vegetables contain a lot of iron that I recommend to you? Here are some types of vegetables:

-Green spinach

Raw spinach contains 2.7 milligrams (mg) of iron in a 100-gram (gr) dose. This iron content can help the body in adding blood. In addition, spinach contains vitamin C to help absorb iron. The antioxidant content of carotenoids contained in spinach can also reduce the risk of cancer, inflammation, and maintain eye health.

-Red Spinach

Not much different from green spinach, red spinach also has a high iron content. In 100 grams of red spinach there are 2 mg of iron. Red spinach also contains vitamin C, calcium, fiber, protein, and other nutrients that can support your body's health.

-Mustard greens

Mustard greens can help the body to increase blood and prevent anemia. This one vegetable contains 2.9 mg of iron in a dose of 100 grams. Plus the folate content in mustard greens which helps overcome blood deficiency, so this vegetable is very good for consumption to prevent anemia.

-Tomatoes

Tomatoes can help increase blood because of the high vitamin C content which helps the process of iron absorption. In 100 grams of tomatoes contained 34 mg of vitamin C. Tomatoes also actually contain iron. But not big, only 0.6 mg.

-Carrot

Carrots include vegetables that can increase blood because they contain high levels of vitamin C and iron. In 100 grams of carrots there are 18 mg of vitamin C and 1 mg of iron. Carrots can be consumed directly or cooked to get the benefits. I recommend consuming it directly without cooking because the nutritional content in carrots will be directly absorbed by the body. But don't forget to wash it first.

In addition to consuming blood-boosting vegetables, balance it with the consumption of nutrient-rich foods and other healthy lifestyles. That way you can avoid blood loss. If needed, you can take iron supplements that are useful for increasing blood.

Those are some vegetables that I recommend for you. Thank you for reading until the end, hopefully useful.
