Modern peoples' Insanity

"It is established that India is a secular country and it is very well mentioned in our constitution that everyone has the liberty to express their thoughts, expression, beliefs, and faith." And it is also well mentioned that this liberty of expression of thoughts shouldn't come at the cost of offending others.
Recently, in an interview, a lady 'Ratna Shah Pathak' has made a remark about women which seems to be flippant and violated the idea of expressing one's thoughts without offending others, when she was asked if she kept 'Karva Chauth vrat?'
Karva Chauth is a one-day festival celebrated annually by married Hindu women in which they observe a fast from sunrise to moonrise and pray for the well-being and longevity of their husbands. The festival is also observed by unmarried women who pray in the hope of securing a desired life partner.
And, in response to that question, she came to an interview and started remarking that, 'India is becoming extremely superstitious, and conservative and might become like Saudi Arabia'. It was quoted by her that she feels so disgraced when she gets to know that even the modern women who have been highly educated are having practices like this. And, it is really so superstitious.
Now, the question that should have been posed to her about such remarks could have been like this-
Do you believe in God? If yes, then have you seen the God, that you believe them?
Why do you have faith in God when you haven't seen any God your whole life?
The whole world must be foolish and superstitious to believe in their God. Aren't they educated enough or modern enough?
People who celebrate Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, and so on... must be foolish enough to celebrate these things. Isn't it?
Her remarks are a direct attack on the people's belief and their faiths. In my opinion, these festivals, fasting, ceremonies, and various other occasions which are related to religious faiths or worship are something that gives people the energy to strive forwards, which enables them to believe in something, and festivals such as Karva Chauth holds special value because they do it for someone they love, and this is one kind of a gesture to express that they care, love, and believe in them. Then there is another festival 'Ahoi Ashtami' in which the mothers keep fast and worship the Goddess Ahoi for the well-being and the long life of their children. Now, people like Ratna Shah Pathak who don't bother about offending others' sentiments by exercising their own liberty of expressing thoughts will tomorrow go on a public stage and criticise those mothers who keep fast for their children.
If she is trying to justify her thoughts by quoting modernisation and education, then I must say, Haven't we learned how to create wealth? According to her if she is not hypocritical must throw away her daughter and son from the home saying that modern education already teaches you how to grow in a society, and I hereby throw you out away on the street so that I can satisfy my ego at par with my thoughts. If she hasn't done that then she is already on the same page with those mothers who keep fast and worships Goddess Ahoi for the well-being and long life of their children. And, similarly, all those wives who keep fast for their loving husbands.
At last, I must conclude that no matter how educated you are, you must be down to earth with your culture. These cultures are one of a kind which teaches us gratefulness.
Thank you.
Have a good day.

Respect is a must, this is why a person should always think before she/he speaks. She must consider all of her audience and the feelings of everyone especially when it comes to opinions, traditions, beliefs, and culture.
