Sawyer grabbed Ethan in his untold story and squeezed as hard as he could. Ethan went to his knees, then Ethan grabbed his wrist, which only intensified Sawyer's resolve. Sawyer grabbed him by his hair and jerked his head back and kissed his neck. Then Ethan landed on his back with Sawyer on top, attacking in the most romantic and savage way a boy his age could.
When the night ended and the moment had ceased, there were no longer two virgins in Destin Woods.
They went into the tent feeling violated and beaten. Climbing into their sleeping bags, both boys shivered against the heater waiting for their bodies to dry.
Neither spoke to the other.
When an hour passed, Ethan finally looked at Sawyer. "Are you mad at me?"
Sawyer looked at him. "No Ethan. I'm just sore as hell. I never dreamed my first time would be like that."
"It wasn't that bad."
"Speak for yourself. I have never felt like that ever in my life. You brought something out of me that I didn't even know was there."
"You weren't complaining too much while I was doing it."
"Neither did you, punk."
"I'm used to feeling sore and beaten. I work out and play sports. You only sprinkle yourself in it. I feel sorry for you in the morning."
Sawyer looked at Ethan seriously. "If I'm too sore tomorrow Ethan I will never have sex with you again."
Ethan closed his mouth at that one. Both boys went to sleep several minutes later.
Sunday morning arrived way too soon. Sawyer was already up cooking breakfast. He still looked awful from the night before, but felt better since he had gotten a full night's sleep.
He was cooking eggs and bacon in the mini cooker his mom had given him. When he finished Ethan was coming out of his tent. He looked better than Sawyer did.
"You hungry Ethan?"
Ethan looked at him. "Yes. A little," he confessed.
Sawyer placed Ethan's food on a paper plate and then he poured Ethan a cup of dr. pepper. He handed Ethan his portion and Ethan smiled. "Gosh Sawyer, thanks. This is a lot of food."
Sawyer smiled.
They sat on the chairs they brought and ate in peace and silence.
Ethan looked at Sawyer. "Sawyer, I love you."
Sawyer looked at Ethan. "I love you to Ethan."
They looked at each other and smiled. Then finished their breakfast.
The ride home was a quiet one. Neither Sawyer or Ethan knew what the future had in store. They hadn't acknowledged that they were boyfriends yet, but the relationship certainly implied it due to the love and affection. Only time would tell where this dynamic duo would take their relationship and how it would affect their lives.
Ethan Fester and Sawyer Lancelot made it back to Sawyer's house from their camping trip Sunday afternoon. Ethan was living with Sawyer after having moved out of his parents house.
Ethan started receiving calls and texts from home shortly before their camping trip. Ethan had been keeping it a secret. He was afraid if he told Sawyer or Mr. and Mrs. Lancelot they would make him leave. He didn't want to make up with his parents, even though his parents were reaching out and trying. Ethan was their only child. It was only natural that they'd eventually want to reach back out and save the relationship they had with their only child. He was precious to them. But unfortunately, as precious as he was, Ethan simply wasn't ready. He loved his parents, but he loved Sawyer to and wanted to see where that was going to go. He knew if he made up with his parents they would try to make him move back and try to control his life again. Ethan enjoyed his newfound freedom. It was fresh air. He didn't want to go back.
When his phone vibrated after Sawyer pulled into the driveway, Ethan looked to find yet another text message from his mother.
"Ethan, I miss you. I'm sorry for what I said. Please forgive me."
Ethan hit clear to remove the unwanted notification. Then he got out of the jeep and helped Sawyer unpack and return everything to where it belonged.
