Society makes up rules as to who a woman can be and what she can do, but God has a plan for our lives - a plan that is not limited by society.
How apt is this message today, as we hear of fellow sisters being raped and tortured in the hands of unscrupulous police officers? It just reminds us that we who are alive, who are free, must not allow what people will say to get in the way of our destiny (the Lord's plan for us.
What does the bible says about woman's place?
In the beginning, God created women in His image, just like He created man in His image (Genesis 1:27)
What does this tell us about a woman's place? That we are representatives of God!
What's my point here? That as a woman, our bodies can sometimes be reduced to sexual objects that exist only for a man's pleasure. But we are not. We are created to be representatives of God!
The Lord created us to be images of Him, which means that we have a place in His grand plan.
I once heard the summary of a teaching where the person said that God did not initially mean to create women. That he only created women as an afterthought.
But this verse Genesis 1:27, this verse shows us that God intended to create females and in fact, did set the foundation for females/women to be created.
On the same day he created males, he created females too! We were not afterthought. You were not an afterthought. You were planned. God has a plan for you!
So, finally, what does the Bible say (Genesis 1) about a women's place? That she's just as valuable to God as a man! That she is just as integral to God's plan as a man!
I will end with this verse: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28).

AMP:There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
We are all members of the One body and God has a plan for you.
