A lot of people, once they see that they are gaining weight, they tend to start putting themselves to suffer.. I do see some young girls not eating all in the name of not having belly fat or overweight.... this is serious....

An ulcer is a sore in the lining of the digestive tract. This can happen when the stomach acid damages the lining of the digestive tract and can be caused by bacteria ( H.pylori) or by pain relief like aspirin.

Beans
Beans is a highly proteinous food and one of the highest sources of protein and totally avoiding beans and it's other babies like moi-moi and beans cake is not a totally idea option except you have other sources of protein which cannot fully replace beans.
Beans helps to buildup the body especially the muscles, repair of body tissues etc A removal of this plant protein means you will be left with more carbohydrates and starchy foods.... See, you are on the high way of being overweight. A total avoidance of beans and other highly proteinous diet is a total acceptance of overweight.
That is why weight loss is more protein and less carbs, healthy eating is more protein and less carbs.
So what should the ulcer patient now do?
Possible Solution
Remember totally scrap of beans will lead to weight loss. Therefore, the best thing to do is that, for every 6 tablespoons intake of beans, drink at least 100cl of water, if you are taking sachet water which is 60cl, take 2 of it and if it's 75cl bottle water, drink 2 of it.
Why?
Water helps for easy digestion and controls the pH of your system , because water is neither alkaline or acidic, it is neutral. So you can't totally avoid not eating beans. The more water you drink, the less pain from the ulcers.
Antacids are palliative, they don't cure ulcers. So at the end of the day, you can't stay away from proteins else you will become overweight and obessed. Therefore, take more water than you eat when you eat beans because you can't completely cut it out from your diet except there is an allergy attached to it. You need beans more than carbs like rice in your body.
Let's look at citrus fruits
Citrus fruits are one of the highest source of vitamin C and they are very rich in antioxidants that fight against diseases causing free radicals in the body.
Poor or lack of vitamin C in the body can lead to low immunity that exposes your body to all kinds of opportunistic infections and deadly diseases. You will fall ill a lot when you have allow immune system which a lot of time is a sign that you are not taking alot of fruits. See you can leave a very long life if your fruits intake is on point.
Fruits especially citrus supplies some very important nutrients to your body like magnesium, potassium etc.
Someone who has ulcer and avoid citrus fruits like oranges, lime, lemon, tangerine,grape etc completely will battle with health issues a lot. You wi be vitamin C deficient a lot except you really invest in other fruits like cucumber, water melon, cabbage but citrus fruits are citrus fruits and they have some very important things they do in the body peculiar to them.
Possible Solution
The best thing to do here is drinking water. Water is a neutral thing with the pH of 7 which is neither alkaline nor acidic. Instead of drinking lime, lemon, orange directly because of their acidity you can do this little trick...
Press out your citrus fruits inside water and drink like that. For instance, you can dilute a medium sized orange into a 60cl cup of water and drink. That reduces the effect and the acidity on you.
So instead of completely staying away from citrus fruits, dilute them with plain water fresh as they are and drink like that. Orange juice is not a better option, mix your fresh orange with water.
That way they retain their nutritonal value and no artificial sugars added. At the end of the day... It is water to the rescue. So ulcer should never stop you from taking the right meals...

I doubt this information is true allover the line. Beans are hard to digest and just like cabbage the intestines and so has the stomach, have a hard time digesting it. Plants are hard to digest anyway. Even a herbivore has a hard time doing so and these animals have a special digesting system.
Most people have ulcer because of stress and eating too much plus too spicy. That why tons of meds against ulcer are sold in the USA. Overweight is the problem here. Greed if it comes to food, not knowing when you had enough, keep stuffing yourself.
The only way to cure is visiting a doctor. You need to take meds to put a layer in your stomach before you eat anything. The abces needs time to heal and easy to digest food, not spicy, not sour is what you need to eat. Cooked chicken for example and tiny bits. The same food babies and sick people eat. With some luck it heals, if not you deal with it for the rest of your life. Peppermint might help.
