Many researchers and psychologists assert that human intelligence is a multidimensional phenomenon that takes a variety of cognitive / mental forms and is not limited to logical intelligence, as some people believe.

Some scholars have identified these types of intelligence in eight intelligences and others in nine, which are: self-understanding intelligence, social intelligence, linguistic intelligence, logical intelligence, emotional intelligence, physical-kinesthetic intelligence, musical intelligence, spatial intelligence, and environmental intelligence.

So what are these intelligences and what is the field of use of each?

Types of human intelligence and the fields of their use

Intrapersonal intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the person's ability to understand himself and to use this understanding to distinguish his motivations, feelings and feelings, to identify his strengths and weaknesses, and to act accordingly in order to determine his goals and his relationship with others. This intelligence, then, enables a person to self-evaluate and reflect on oneself in order to regulate it through controlling his actions and actions. So, it enables the individual to direct his life to the appropriate destination.

Social intelligence:

This intelligence enables the individual to interact with others properly and appropriately, because it enables him to notice the existing differences between persons in mood, character and motives for action, and has the abilities to understand others and discover his intentions and intentions and thus respond to him. This intelligence enables us to solve problems related to our relationship with others, as it enables us to understand and find solutions to help them and motivate them to continue achieving a common goal. That's why it's important for politicians, salespeople, psychotherapists, teachers, mentors, and spiritual guides, and charismatic personalities have a high degree of this intelligence.

Linguistic intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the ability to understand, produce and use language to understand, read and communicate orally or in writing. It enables the exploitation of various aspects of language through sounds (considering a word as a group of sounds), and through the structure, meaning and function of words. All individuals who master the use of language, whether in writing or public speaking, possess linguistic intelligence: the orator, the lawyer, the poet and the writer ... In sum, intelligence is what enables the delivery of knowledge and feelings.

Logical or mathematical intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the use of logic to solve mathematical and scientific problems. It includes the ability to perceive patterns, inferences and to think logically, and it enables the presentation of methods and logical models that are transferable, transferable and employable in multiple situations. It also includes the ability to analyze and interpret the causes of phenomena and actions and their implications, as it enables the ability to relate the various elements of information and knowledge, as well as the development of abstraction abilities. Here logical intelligence can be tested

Kinesthetic or bodily intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the ability to control body movements and use them creatively in either technical or sports performance. It also includes the ability to manually and creatively manipulate objects or machines. It also includes the ability to understand body language and to physically express emotions and feelings. It is this intelligence that enables the establishment of a harmonious relationship between body and spirit, and it grows in particular among athletes, actors and surgeons.

Musical or rhythmic intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the ability to produce, distinguish, transform or evaluate and taste a rhythm, resonance, and a musical or rhythmic tone. It enables one to understand the various forms of musical expression or use music for expression, thus mastering several musical skills such as singing, playing and musical composition, in addition to appreciating these skills while enjoying them. This intelligence may be aware of vocal rhythms or be able to enter into a relationship with others through rhythms and vocal rhythms.

Spatial or visual intelligence

This intelligence is characterized by the ability to perceive and create mental images. It enables the recognition of shapes, colors and geometries and leads to artistic expression. It increases our ability to sense an image and perceive the world in its visual aspects and spatial dimensions. This intelligence is high among airmen or seafarers, as well as for visual artists and professional chess players.

Naturalistic or ecological intelligence:

This intelligence is characterized by the ability to perceive and classify patterns and types of assets in nature, and to appreciate and acknowledge these assets. This ability applies and extends to the cultural world, where this intelligence enables it to be explained and interpreted. Intelligence is what enables us to have a sense of what is alive and enables us to perceive and understand the environment in which a person develops.

Emotional intelligence:

It is the ability to understand emotions and the skill to deal with them, and to use them well. And the ability to recognize our own feelings and the feelings of others, in order to properly manage our emotions in our relationship with others. Emotional intelligence is not limited to its use at the professional or social level, but mainly includes how to use emotions intelligently in the relationship between the two partners, whether before or after marriage.

Studies have proven that happy husbands are not smarter, richer, or more educated than unfortunate couples, and they are not, of course, specialists in psychology or the art of communication or in negotiation techniques, but rather they argue and disagree like the rest of the husbands. What distinguishes these partners is their possession of emotional intelligence that is advanced than others, which makes them able to crystallize a relational dynamic by not allowing negative feelings to dominate or dominate the relationship, which makes them always find pleasure and the motivation to stay together.

Conclusion

The theory of multiple intelligences considers that these intelligences interact with each other in order to enable us to adapt and accomplish our various life activities, that is to solve problems, overcome difficulties, settle situations or crystallize and anticipate solutions ... It also sees that the intelligence of self-understanding and the intelligence of the relationship with the other are horizontal intelligences that necessarily enter into coordination With one of the other intelligences to crystallize or create an intelligent behavior.

The development of these intelligences requires that the school be open to activities that are open to life and provide situations that allow the development of all competencies through action, exercise and expression in its various manifestations of knowledge, emotional, physical and all creative artistic expressions.

The school should also stop believing that success in life depends on possessing that ready-made theoretical knowledge that it passes on, which does not exceed, at best, the development of linguistic intelligence and mathematical intelligence, leaving the rest of the intelligences vulnerable to loss and waste.
