Crime is human nature. People become victims of the environment and the situation and engage in criminal activities. In general, we think that only people of mature intellect and mature age go into the world of crime. But the exception is not uncommon. In the country, immature children and adolescents are also involved in various criminal misdeeds and all the doors of possibility of their life are closed in adolescence. Such a situation is indicative of dire consequences for the country and the nation.

And first of all,we have to know, "What is a crime?"

In the eyes of an individual or a society, unwanted and unacceptable behavior is a 'crime'. Crime destroys social order and morality. The process of rescuing one's own interests by following a hateful and illegal path by avoiding the universally accepted path can be called a 'crime'.

Boys and girls between the ages of seven and nineteen are usually called teenage. The crime committed by them is the crime of Teenage Crime . There are differences of opinion in different countries about the age of teenager's crime. 13 to 22 years in every corner of the country; Again, in every corner of the country, if a boy or a girl between the ages of 18 and 21 commits a crime, his name is teenager's crime. Teenager's crime is not punishable in Japan under the age of 14. In the Philippines, crimes against children under the age of 9 and under the age of 6 in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Burma are not punishable.

Rabindranath Tagore wrote in his 'Holiday' story, "There is no such evil in the opinion of a boy of thirteen or fourteen years. This statement of the world poet about the characteristics of adolescence is very accurate. Children of this age are given a lot of hope; They became very curious about life and everything in the world. But when those curiosities and expectations are shattered, they become overwhelmed with despair. This frustration drags them to the dark world.

According to a survey, 20 per cent of crime in Bangladesh is due to family instability and strife. Of course, the issue of economic hardship is also associated with it. Apart from these, teenage crime is also committed for the well-planned misdeeds of a class of evil lakes. These people forcibly take the teenagers and force them to commit theft, pickpocketing, snatching, black marketing, creating chaos in different places, getting drunk, gambling, throwing acid, eve teasing etc.

Teenager's are our children. They are the craftsmen to build a beautiful country and a beautiful world in the future. Our responsibilities and duties towards them are immense. It is not possible to eradicate the crime of Teenage by enacting laws alone, it requires the concerted efforts of people at all levels.


The following steps can be taken to stop teenager's crime:

1.Compulsory education for all disadvantaged sections of the society.

2. As children and adolescents grow up, close parental supervision, care and attention are essential. Children - Adolescents have a keen eye for their mental inclinations and needs, to act accordingly, and to play and have easy relationships with their children. Evaluating the good and bad of the child by considering everything from the modern point of view of the parents.

3. One of the responsibilities of teachers is to guide the teenagers in the right path. Teachers can create dreams in their minds about their beautiful mental development and bright future by using the opinions of friends with children and teenagers.



4. Teenagers are emerging and talented people. Their talents and creativity should be highlighted in different media and various cultural, social organizations and organizations should be formed and various programs should be formulated there. According to the Maths Olympiad, various steps have to be taken for the development of knowledge and talent. Remember, teenager's age is full of curiosity and creativity. This curiosity and creativity must be engaged in building values.

Adolescence is the happiest and most promising time of human life. At this time in his eyes there is a lot of self-remembering intense hope. This dream, this hope should not be led astray by failure. For that, it is essential for all to play their due role as conscious fathers, teachers and citizens.
