Hello! How are you doing today? I trust you had a great day today. Do well to take some rest too. Do you know what is yours? Do you know what is best for you? These are a few questions we need to answer with understanding.

I was with my academic father today and we discussed a lot of things. He is a psychologist and as a psychologist, he has vast knowledge of a lot of things. He talked about some students who were not serious with their studies and were all into relationships. It isn't as if these students are ready for marriage but they just want to explore the fun of higher institution and the thought of freedom to do anything. In his words, he said;

"Your knees must bow down for God. Go to a corner and pray. God will direct you to a scripture. When you are ready for marriage, you will talk to your creator about it and he will give you the best that you want"

He gave an example of a tree that is filled with a lot of fruits. When people see fruits, they begin to throw stones. And at the moment we throw this, both the ripe and the unripe fruit will fall . The unripe ones will never fall down until you throw an object at them. Some fruits will be attracted to you and it will be like calling you to "pluck me, pluck me" either through stone or stick. Don't rush. If you begin to throw stones at the fruits, those that are ripe will fall and those that are not ripe will also fall. You don't know what is on the tree. There may be snakes, scorpions and ants. If you begin to search for things that you are not yet groomed enough to receive, you might end up with something you won't like.

Don't rush to go into a hole that you don't know. You have to pray to God first and have patience. After praying, be patient. Don't be in haste. Wait on God. He is the best giver. When a fruit is ripe, it will fall down by itself. It will come to you without throwing stones without using stick, it will come down by itself. No other person can have whatever God has planned for you. God is never late.

The results of your prayers will come to you at the right time as the ripe mangoes will fall down and save the death of all the other fruits. There are so many areas of development; the spiritual development is the most important. You have to pray. When you don't pray, you won't see when what is yours will come. When you don't talk to God, He cannot speak to you. You have to grab the opportunity that comes to you and not ordinary grabbing, frequently communicating with God helps us to hear Him. He knows what is best for us. Let's not be in a hurry. He will keep what is yours for you until you are ready to receive them.
