A day to be risen

Today the Lord has risen. I hope and pray we will rise with him from the deepest slumber of our faith.

Easter Sunday is the last day of our Holy week celebration. It is the day which the Lord has risen from the dead. As the gospel tells us how the disciples discovered the Lord is not there in his tomb anymore they believe that he is the Lord yet do not understand the scripture that he must rise from the dead.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ let's believe in the Lord with all our heart, with all our mind, and with all our soul. Let us understand as well that he must rise from the dead in order to fulfill what was written in the scripture. For everything was already written and Jesus was sent to fulfill them. As this holy week celebration end let me ask you this question?

How are you in this holy week celebration?

As of me, this holy week is really a very personal and powerful one, as I came to know Jesus deeper and make a deeper faith and relationship towards him. As I have said in my previous article, this holy week there are some activities I get to do for the first time, such as hearing the seven last words that was celebrated on Good Friday. I get to serve and celebrate the blessings of the new fire on black Saturday and able to sing with the angels on the celebration of the Easter Sunday as Jesus and Mary met after his resurrection.

God has been so faithful to me, to us that even in his death he rise to be with us to show us that he is the son of God sent from heaven. To believe in him and never doubt him. This Easter Sunday Jesus wanted to remind us that He died for us and he rise for us. That there is more than this life and the death as the end of our life in this world. That we will be risen and be with him in his paradise. That after the painful sacrifice he take on the cross for our sinfulness, he never regretted it and even get back to us alive to show that he never had left us even a single moment in our life.

Brothers and sisters, God is alive. Our God is alive and is not dead. He hear our prayers, heals our wound and lift our burdens in this life. He is with us. I hope and pray that this Easter Sunday, like God that is risen from the dead, we will also be risen from our deepest slumber in our faith towards the Lord. Let us believe, be hopeful, be faithful towards him because he is to us. Let's end our doubts, and our worries because he is with us. Let's put our trust to him because he is our God willing to die for us, take the cross for us and rise from dead for us. That's how big the love of our God for us. That's how great his mercy and compassion towards us. He could have just forsake us, leave us and let us suffer from our sins but he didn't let that happened because he loved us. Our God is not just alive but our God is the greatest God, the most loving and compassionate God. Imagine how precious you are because someone is willing to die for you, and loved you unconditionally.

I myself, had realized this day is a gift. This day is the day I shouldn't waste. Because if not today when will be the time I will do something? When time is running out? No, I should not wait because I will never knew until when I could have this borrowed life.

Let's use this Easter Sunday to be renewed, to be risen with the Lord. Let our old self be risen. Let our faith be risen. Let us rise with the Lord.
