My internet has been on and off all day, so I'm a little behind with my work goals. Instead of focusing on work, I've been grilling and gardening! One of my latest beauties in the yard that I have been meaning to share with you all.

@Thefightwithinher

Good Morning, Today was chore day for this household. Now I'm doing a little organizing. This is one of my favorite statues from my bookshelf. I bought her and her mates many years ago at a yard sale, where I was told they were picked up in Greece. 💙💙💙💙💙💙

@Thefightwithinher

Got my workout in for today. Found this on the curb. Someone was throwing it away! Works great! 😁

@Thefightwithinher

Good Morning, Today was a juice kind of day. I love my juices just as long as they don't have any artificial ingredients or sweeteners in them! And I can never understand why one would want sugar in their vegetable juice! Blech! 🤮🤢

3 Moves to Make When Your Blog is in Limbo If you have a blog, but you're somewhere between new to blogging and not sure what's next, it can be a little overwhelming like writer's block on a good day! Believe me, it happens!  Building a blog takes a lot of patience, especially when you are trying to turn it into a full-time income. You must be willing to spend a lot of time learning how to do things like adding a disclosure page to your blog and pitching ad space to potential customers.   There is so much more to learn than just the basics of blogging. Blogging is honestly the fun part! Now we must focus on the hard part, making money!  I wish it were as easy as just throwing up a blog and waiting for the money to come in, but you and I both know that it's not.  So what's a blogger to do? One solution would be to spend some time researching Facebook groups that offer guidance and support for bloggers who are interested in taking their blog to the next level.  Even if you are unable to find the answer you are looking for, there's always the option to post your question to the group, just be sure you have permission from the administration to do so first.  Then, look at the answers from those who are similar to one another and not an individual who has a different answer from everyone else.  And don't forget to offer your own advice if someone should need help in your chosen group. Always pay it forward!  One important thing to remember when you are researching Facebook groups or similar, not everyone will be an expert in blogging. Try to find a group that has a lot of traffic and recent activity, but avoid those who only seem to offer advice on basic blogging and anything else you are already familiar with.  Another solution is to search video platforms like YouTube. My youngest son who has **Autism** is a huge fan of YouTube. He uses YouTube to search for videos on how to play his favorite songs on the keyboard or guitar.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/5--How-to-Recognize-the-Signs-of-Autism-in-Your-Teen-efen1q I'm not far behind him when it comes to using YouTube as an information tool either. I can often be found typing in a topic I'm interested in learning more about on their platform. You can find a vast amount of tutorials on just about any topic you can dream of.  One last solution, if you can afford to do so, is to hire a coach or blogging expert to help you get on the right track to **building an income with your blog**.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/41-6-Steps-to-Creating-Blogging-Income-ep99of Do your research before you hire just anyone. You don't want to hire someone who claims to have the experience you are looking for and then realize that they don't. Ask for references, take a detailed look at their blog before you hire. If they don't have the proof to back up their success, find someone who can.  If you can't afford to hire a blogging expert, you could email a successful blogger that you admire and ask them for help. Make sure that you keep your email short since no one likes to read a 10-page email from a stranger asking for your advice and valuable time. Keep in mind, if you are aiming for the top dogs in blogging, you might not even get a reply to your question or they may be willing to help for a small fee.  Yes, being a full-time blogger can seem a bit overwhelming at times, but in the end, the return on your investment is totally worth it.

2  Simple Steps to Getting Back on Track With Your Goals Today, I finally had some good news after a difficult week. But it also meant that I failed to meet several goals I had set for myself. If I keep going down that road, I will end up with a financial setback among other things.  It's a feat that I never planned for and somehow thought would never rule my life again. **Excuses**.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/40-How-to-Stop-Being-Scared-in-Life-and-Just-Truly-Live-ep33c2 Excuses I made because I had way too many pickles on my plate. Excuses I used because I couldn't get my act together even though my difficult week wouldn't even phase those who are serious about their work.  Right now, I'm so far behind on articles, editing, art, and organizing that I honestly don't even know if it's possible to even catch up.  I naively figured things were going great and I was out of the woods for life's crazy moments. Boy was I wrong. Instead of trying to work with life's difficulties, I went against them and took a break from everything.  It wasn't until my car broke down that I realized it wasn't worth stressing myself out over, and that if I had to walk, well then so be it!  Once I stopped worrying, I started to focus on my work once again. I also decided that I needed to be more organized than just keeping track of my daily work.  I needed to invest in planners just as I did for my work. I needed a planner for not only my fitness goals but one for my life goals as well.  So I invested in a few **new planners** that I found down the clearance aisle (*some things will never change)* of one of my recent shopping trips.  https://amzn.to/3i6JPAQ But before then, I stewed, then I stewed some more. I questioned myself. Would I really use them? Would it be a waste of my money? Would I have the willpower to follow through with every goal I put in that planner?  There were so many what-ifs, but I had to try! And let me tell you, I'm glad I made that purchase! I've never been more excited, more ready to get back to meeting my goals. I felt energized and ready to face the world once again despite my week.  Yet as I think back to my difficult week, in addition to the planners, I realized there were a few steps I could have taken to get back on track with my work and life.  Steps that would have probably helped keep the chaotic moments when I was feeling overwhelmed.  **Organization-** This is a huge step for me because my ADHD often attempts to overrule my organization skills. I'm not always disorganized. I have a few good habits like alphabetizing my DVDs. Yet my desk tells a very different story, one covered in piles of art supplies and household paperwork.  With the help of my latest life planners, I'm hoping to get organized once again, and keep it that way! One can always hope, right?  **Schedules -** This is another huge step for me to tackle because, unlike my youngest son who is autistic, I don't like schedules. I'm the type of person who always does her own thing instead of worrying about the minutes I have left to do it in.  Yet, I also know I could benefit from some form of schedule, so I chose to focus on a week instead of a time frame except for appointments and meetings.   I believe that by focusing on these two steps, I can turn them into a habit that will help me achieve my goals even when my days become frustrating and the unexpected happens.  Life challenges us in so many ways we never dreamed were even possible.  We can either throw in the towel and admit defeat or we can fight back and come out a winner one step at a time. Let's do this!

@Thefightwithinher

How to Stay Ahead of Your Work Schedule and Succeed Today is one of those days where I could be **cleaning and organizing** while my youngest son is spending a few weeks away from home visiting family. Yet, here I am writing instead.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/53-How-to-Clear-the-Clutter-When-Youre-Feeling-Overwhelmed-e108bag I've still got a few more days to clean and organize the house, place an online order, plant my garden, finish 2 art projects, and the list goes on!  Okay, so maybe if you are reading this, you're thinking, that's a disaster in the making! And if you follow my work, then chances are you also know I have  ADHD! Double whammy!  But guess what? It's not a disaster and I'm still standing.  Even when things seem overwhelming, I have been able to stay in control because I am ahead of my writing goals, so I don't have to work as much as I usually do.  I stayed ahead of my writing goal and have even managed to record several podcast episodes nearly a month in advance. Now that doesn't mean I've taken a break from working. It simply means I have been able to spend more time with my family.  I do plan to take some real time off in the future, however. And I know with the flexibility of my job it won't be a problem whatsoever. But, that still doesn't mean my job is easy. It's quite a bit of responsibility, especially when you have **ADHD**.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/43-ADHD-and-the-Misconceptions-Behind-it-eq38m0 There are indeed moments when I can't just drop everything just to take additional time off. Some days I'm busier than I have ever dreamed possible, so much to the point I have been afraid of pushing myself into burnout mode. Luckily, I love my work and have yet to experience that moment.  I'm also very blessed because I have been able to continue to work from home and build my brand by:  **Planning Ahead -** I have a daily work planner that I use to plan my weeks ahead of schedule. As I mentioned before, I have managed to record several episodes of **The Fight Within Her Podcast**, about a month ahead of schedule.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher My next goal is to continue that schedule by writing a minimum of at least one month of articles.  It's a huge goal, but I'm already well on my way to crushing it!  Getting a head start with your business allows you to take a day or two when you are sick, want to take a vacation, or just need a break from life's chaotic moments.  **A planner** allows you to see where exactly you are with your goals and what you need to focus on next to stay ahead of your schedule.  https://amzn.to/3gdqMCn **Working With Not Against Time -** There are only 24 hours in a day and as crazy as life can get, there may be days when you can't work 8 hours straight. While you should never sacrifice the hours you spend with your family, you can use your time wisely. If everyone is still in bed at 6am, but you're wide awake, spend those early morning hours working on your business.  If you have school-age children and your partner works during the day, instead of lounging around in front of the television watching soap operas, use that time to focus on your business goals.  **Make Time For Your Tribe -** Your followers are taking time out of their busy lives to invest in you and your business, so why not make time for them? Build relationships with your clients by getting to know them. Ask them about their passions, hopes, dreams, and goals. Give your fans a reason to trust you even more.   Just remember,  when it comes to getting ahead of your work goals, you have to be willing to go that extra mile if you want to succeed.

@Thefightwithinher

Why You Are Making a Huge Mistake Using Paid Traffic A few weeks ago I received an email that for one brief moment had my undivided attention.  It was from an individual who had seen my **Instagram profile** and loved my photos. The individual went on to say that she wanted to promote my photos to her fans and link back to my Instagram account.  https://www.instagram.com/fightwithinher My first thought was this might be worth replying to because I had decided she's a female interested in supporting other female entrepreneurs.  I never once gave a second thought to the fact she had somehow gotten ahold of an email address,  one nonetheless that wasn't even connected to my Instagram account.   Instead, I replied to her email with a huge *"Yes, let's do this!"* unaware of her true intentions.  Of course, I was excited about her opportunity and shared it with the world as I waited anxiously for her reply. That reply came in like a slap in the face as I realized I had just been lured into her big catch.  `"Okay! I charge $200 for one photo promotion that will guarantee you, followers."`  Wait! What? Yep, there was a catch and a big one. She wanted me to pay for traffic on my Instagram profile. Not only had I been sucker-punched, but it was a huge blow to my already stoked ego I had envisioned from that first email.  Now let me just get something very clear. I have not and will never buy traffic. In my opinion, it is a huge waste of money and time. Not to mention, your followers are not there for you and Instagram knows this! In fact, most social media platforms are very aware of this marketing ploy.  And suddenly gaining a ton of new followers won't get you anywhere but to the bottom with social media platforms like Instagram. Organic traffic is and always will be the best way to improve your rank with social media sites.  When you have an organic following, it tells Instagram and other platforms that your fans are genuinely interested in what you share on your profile page.  Bottom line, you will get more attention on your social media profiles if you focus on your real fans versus someone who doesn't know you, doesn't want to know you, and most likely won't stick with you until the end. And as for my reply to the individual who wanted me to pay for traffic? I replied with a simple, *"No, thank you."* then smiled as I was reminded of a quote made famous by Paul Gleason in the movie, The Breakfast Club. -   `"Don't Mess with the Bull Young Man, You'll Get the Horns."`

Good Morning, 🌞 Trying to stay positive this week. 3 major events that have happened. 🔷 Sewer line blockage, which is slowly getting fixed and will hopefully be finished by Monday, weather permitting. 🔶 Our home insurance has tripled despite that our house is in great shape aside from the sewer line issue that is being resolved and we are never late with our payments, so we are unsure why this is happening. 🔺 Both of the belts on my car broke at the same time yesterday evening while driving back from grocery shopping. I lost steering, power and brakes. I was lucky enough to have made it into a gas station and be towed home. I have two different opinions on my car, neither of which are good news and the person who will be working on my car is attempting to tell me I must take it to be worked on, so when I decided to take it to a familyy member who is a certified mechanic and could use the money, I was told I would not and they who don't have any real knowledge on vehicles will just work on it themselves. This is also possible the reason the belts broke in the first place and there is still a power steering fluid leak coming from somewhere. The only thing that may save this is the neighbor next door is a mechanic and they have agreed to tell them what parts they need to at least fix the car. Sigh. I honestly need to think about a lot of things. Yes, I could work on my own car and learn, I do know some mechanic work, but time is not on my side at the moment.

How to Make Money When You Are Broke Most entrepreneurs will tell you that to make money you have to spend money! While that may work for some, not everyone can afford to spend money, especially when they don't have any, to begin with.  Being broke is no fun when you are trying to hustle just to put a roof over your head. And while there are plenty of employees paying jobs almost anywhere you turn, I also know there may be circumstances where getting a job outside of the home isn't an option.  Whatever your reason for wanting to **make money from home**, the first thing you will want to do is to get a clear picture of why you want to work from home. You need a compelling reason to keep yourself on track when things get tough and you're to that point of questioning whether it's worth it.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/1-8-Lessons-Ive-learned-When-Transitioning-to-a-Successful-Work-From-Home-Job-eeghpg **If you are struggling to stay motivated**, change your mindset! Spend time every day focusing on what you need to do to make that money even if it means shutting out social media distractions like Facebook.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/7-3-Reasons-Why-You-Are-Failing-Yourself-as-an-Entrepreneur-eg680s Next, you need to set specific goals that will start you down the path to making money online. How do you plan to do it? What do you need to do to make money every day and so forth.  One good example would be to set a goal to earn $1, $5, then $10, and repeat to $100. Then try to earn $1000 or more! Another way you can set specific goals is by creating a vision board. If your goal is to buy a new car, start by cutting out photos of your dream car and glue them to your vision board. If you don't want to create a physical vision board, you could use an app like Pinterest to create a visual board, then add any pins that you want to include and refer to your goals as often as needed.  Now it's time to tighten your budget even more by **living below your means**. Try to at least save 10 percent of your income, then ask yourself, What bills can I cut?  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/9-How-to-Save-Money-When-Youre-On-a-Tight-Budget-Living-in-a-Small-Town-eh5379 Yes, you need to have internet access to work online, but can you go to your local library to work and cut your internet bill? And what about those 50 cent daily mountain dew splurges from the soda machine. Those daily splurges can add up quickly!  Then, don't do the minimum. Offer the very best of yourself and what you do, then take it one step further by going above and beyond. Stand out by building a friendship with your customers and you increase your earnings.  Love what you do by doing what you love. Don't just settle for the basics either. Keep learning until you know everything there is about your work and then some! Your skills are a valuable asset. Treat it as such. Invest in free business videos and courses online to expand your knowledge. Visit your local library and check out books and other business materials that interest you.  If you need ideas on ways to earn money online, consider:  Launching a Podcast Writing Articles Creating Videos for Youtube Taking Surveys Starting a Blog Selling Photographs Selling Used Items Teaching Online Classes Sharing Affiliate Marketing Links If you need additional help with ideas or focus, look for mentors who are already making a living online and follow their lead. By surrounding yourself with successful people, you not only have a fantastic opportunity to learn from them, but you also won't have time to deal with those who only want to bring you and your success down. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to as long as you keep working towards your goals, learn from every experience and **turn failure into opportunities**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/Are-you-self-sabotaging-your-sucess-with-negative-thinking-patterns-eii2rq

3 Ways to Stand Out as a Blogger When you are trying to build a blog that you hope will become a source of income for you, it can become frustrating when you are trying to stand out from the rest of the blogging world.  You may even begin to doubt yourself and wonder why readers would even want to bookmark your blog in the first place! Why especially, when there are thousands of bloggers who are already at the top of their game!  That why happens to be you! You are unique, so why wouldn't your blog be? You are the only one who can capture your readers by giving them the chance to know you. Trust me, they want to know you. Your readers want to relate, they want to feel as if you are a part of their lives in some way.  And to fulfill your readers' wishes you must:  **Become an Expert -** Whatever topic you choose to write about, excel in it. Go above and beyond what your readers do not already know. Give your readers a reason why they should listen to you.  **Have an Appealing Blog -** **Standing out as a blogger** does not mean turning your blog into a blingy, princess glittery eyesore! If your blog is all over the place, chances are your readers will become discouraged and choose not to come back.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/41-6-Steps-to-Creating-Blogging-Income-ep99of If you want loyal readers you have to create a blog that is as visually appealing in design as it is in knowledge.  **Tell Your Story -** Everyone loves a great story. Tell your own. Even if you don't have an interesting life, there is always a story to tell. Perhaps you have a close family member's story (*with permission)* to tell? Or maybe now is the time to talk about how your blog came to life.  Stories are a great way to stand out from the crowd, especially when that story is as unique as you in every way.

3 Outstanding Moves Towards Building Your Freelance Writing Career I don't know any freelance writer who doesn't dream of making it to the top. In fact, I've seen more and more writers who are working from home while dreaming of having it all.  As writers, we tend to have a great imagination, which is definitely a big part of being a writer, but when you are writing articles and other non-fiction it's an entirely different world.  It's never as simple submitting your work to a company's blog and suddenly you're a freelance writer. Building a freelance business takes time and definitely a lot of hard work, but with these 3 moves, getting to the top may feel a whole lot easier.  **Find a Niche -** With so many writers **working online to make a living**, it's getting harder and harder to stand out from the crowd. Finding a niche is one of the best ways to stay ahead of the competition as a freelance writer. A niche is especially useful if you can become an expert in your chosen niche.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/50-How-to-Be-Productive-as-a-Mom-Working-From-Home-eupe44 Don't just settle for any niche, however. Find a niche that you are passionate about. If you can't stand sports, you won't give it all your best writing about the subject. Choose a topic that you know you can write and are knowledgeable about!  **Showcase Your Freelance Writing -** The best way to show potential clients your writing talents is by creating a portfolio for your work.  Invest in a website that will allow you to showcase your best freelance writing.  Then, step into the world of social media, where you can continue showcasing your writing by sharing links of your content to potential clients who are on social media. Be sure to keep your social media accounts and website updated continuously. Promoting your work as a writer regularly is one of the best ways to succeed in the freelancing world.  **Become Outstanding -** If you want to become successful in any career, you have to be able to follow through with your word. If you say you will have that article to your client by 5 'o'clock PM Friday, then do it! If you are not meeting your deadlines, why would someone want to hire you when they have their own schedule to keep?  If you must extend your deadline,  do it as soon as possible and not the day your client expects you to submit your work.  However, if your reasons for needing the extra time are based on excuses, your freelance writing dream will never be at the top. If you've got more excuses to throw my way as you are reading this, maybe you need to just stop right where you are.  **Stop making excuses** and start finding ways to make your success a reality.  Life will always find a way to create a reason why you can't, but if you can stay focused on the end goal, you will continue to stay ahead of everyone else as a freelance writer.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/40-How-to-Stop-Being-Scared-in-Life-and-Just-Truly-Live-ep33c2 Don't let the little stresses in life like your home internet going down, become a major reason you can't work on your client's article that's due tomorrow morning. Take advantage of getting out of the house and heading to a free wifi hotspot like your local library or coffee shop instead of creating reasons why you can't. If your goal is to be the best in freelance writing, you have to keep going even when life tries to get in your way!

@Thefightwithinher

How To Use Instagram to Reach Your Fans Reaching your fans is one of the most important goals for anyone who is looking to build their career both on and offline.  Instagram is currently home to over one billion users and there is no chance of them slowing down anytime soon. It is also one of the best platforms for anyone who is **building a business** or their career.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/41-6-Steps-to-Creating-Blogging-Income-ep99of Instagram is also a great way to find and reach potential fans. But if you want to reach your fans, you must be willing to publish content that will engage your fans in some way.  The challenge is to produce content that is a visual show stopper while telling them a story that leaves them wanting more. One way to accomplish this is to stand out by using the caption area to showcase the best moments in your story.  You can add to that creativity by including a photo or video that captures those moments visually and create a call to action by letting your fans know where to find your products or services.  You will also want to engage with your fans by talking about what they love, what you love, and what you both have in common. Your fans want to be able to interact with those they follow and feel as if they are a part of something big, even if it's just a love for something as fun as the television show, **Supernatural**. It's an easy way to allow your fans to reminisce about why they love it and it's a great way to attract new fans.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/11-How-Sam-Winchester-Changed-My-Life-ei97ra No matter what strategy you choose to use to reach your fans, you must remember that Instagram works best with visual content. You cannot be successful on Instagram without focusing on outstanding photos and videos.   Also remember, niches are valuable. Your niche can become a resourceful strategy towards reaching more fans.  Some of the greatest **Instagram** followers are those with niches in DIY, Crafting, and Food. Mental health is another popular niche. But the leader of them all? The foodies! Because we simply have a mad love for food!  https://www.instagram.com But don't just focus on a niche! Yes, it is important to promote yourself to reach new fans, but those very same fans don't want to hear about your products or services and nothing more. Share bits of your life with them through personal photos and posts that aren't related to promoting yourself or your work. Give your fans a chance to know you better and they'll be encouraged to engage in your posts!  Start a conversation by asking questions in your captions area. This allows your followers to engage in your posts through comments.  You can also create polls with Instagram to engage and reach your followers. The polls are set up for simple yes or no questions that can even be geared towards the products or services that you offer. Or you could use the polls to invite your fans to become a part of your world by helping to create a future product or service of yours.  When you allow your fans to become involved in your work, then they are more likely to invest in it.   But don't forget to stay in touch even after your fans have invested in you. Sometimes as our lives become busy, we often forget those who supported our success from the very start. We get lost in building more followers and stop reaching out to those who we already had. Don't forget your tribe, your fans are the ones who got you to where you are today. Never take that for granted.

@Thefightwithinher

Doing it Scared and Loving It Let's get very real for a moment. Those goals you have for yourself, are you pursuing them, or are you still making excuses because life is just too busy as always!  Yes, life gets busy, it even gets hard at times. You may even run into a few brick walls now and then!  It took me well over 10 years to finish writing my sci-fi novel, ***"The Generation."*** I allowed the excuses to control my life,  my dream goals, and my future.  https://amzn.to/3tFCFFy It took me 10 years because I worried that people wouldn't love my stories. I feared criticism. I didn't want to step out of my comfort zone so I didn't for over 10 years! Life got too uncomfortable and I stalled.  But I learned that even after 10 years, life was still very much uncomfortable, nothing had gotten better, nothing had changed.  I realized that if I wanted to publish my novel, I had to get over the thought that not everyone will like my stories and just step out of my comfort zone no matter what happens. I changed my way of thinking and decided I was doing it for me and not for everyone else! They were an added bonus!  So I sat down and did what I thought was the impossible! I finished writing my novel, ***"The Generation."*** And I published it. I even took it one step further by turning the story into a series. I was also working a full-time job and caring for 3 boys. Now add housework and CNA classes to that life and time is in short demand even on the not-so stressful days.  https://amzn.to/3tFCFFy But I found the time! I took a minimum of 15 minutes every evening before bedtime and I made myself write, even if it was just one paragraph! And you know what? It worked!  It worked because I made myself do it.  Even when I was exhausted from the day's events, I wrote! I treated it like it was an appointment and I wrote!  I chose to discipline myself in order to accomplish my goal. And let me tell you it was not easy! It took time to learn and develop. It was a habit that in the end led me to achieve my goal of finishing my novel and publishing it.  I experienced a huge something known as willpower, and while it's never as easy as it sounds, I have come a very long way because when you have **ADHD** everything is a challenge.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/43-ADHD-and-the-Misconceptions-Behind-it-eq38m0 There are days when I'm still not okay with being uncomfortable. Flying lessons is one of those not stepping out of my comfort zone right now. But it's on my bucket list, somewhere amongst the, travel around the world and jumping out of an airplane goals.  Currently, my focus with success has been to build up my writing and get uncomfortable again with my next novel from ***"The Generation"*** **series**.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/6-A-Never-before-Released-Free-Reading-of-My-Sci-Fi-Novel--The-Generation-efp5j9 I pick and choose my comfort zone battles, but I know one day I'll be crossing off that bucket list.  Now let me ask, have you stepped out of your comfort zone lately?  If not, you need to. You need to believe you can do it, believe in yourself. You need to visualize what success looks like to you, then do it.  You need this. You need to find the willpower to succeed every single day even if 15 minutes is all the time you can conjure. Then you must prove to yourself that you can do this. You can succeed.  Step out of your comfort zone and prepare to get uncomfortable. *Will you do it?*

@Thefightwithinher

I Challenge You I totally 100% get it. Change can be crazy scary and downright uncomfortable. But in order to achieve great success, you have got to be willing to push past that uncomfortable feeling.  It doesn't matter if you want to go back to school and get your degree, take that leap to working from home or getting physically fit, it's going to be a very uncomfortable ride.  With that being said, now is the time to take a quick step back and decide what your goals are and are they worth pursuing.  If you are not willing to follow through with your goals, then you may want to consider a different path. Seriously, if you are still making excuses as to why you don't have time to achieve your goals, then chances are you never will.  You can choose. You can make those choices that will scare the heck out of and leave you feeling uncomfortable or you can take that easy road and do nothing.  You are in control. You decide and then take action. **Crush your goals** one after another even on the days when you don't feel like it. Crush your goals even when your day is crazy busy and you don't think you have the time to work on them. Because the truth is, you and only you can do this!  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/40-How-to-Stop-Being-Scared-in-Life-and-Just-Truly-Live-ep33c2 If the desire is there, then you need to be disciplined enough to power through your goals even when it's outside of your comfort zone. Anything is possible as long as you are willing to do the work. And as long as you decide that your goals are worth pursuing. But you have to be all in 100%. You have to be ready to say yes to putting in hours and hours of hard work without the excuses.  Prove to yourself that you can achieve your goals. Challenge yourself, believe in yourself, and take action. That first step is a doozy. It's going to hurt like heck. You're going to push yourself further than you have ever pushed yourself before.  You will work your butt off every single day and night! But the reward, in the end, will be worth it. It will be worth fulfilling your dream, your future! All you have to do is believe in yourself and take that next step to success!

How to Take Advantage of Your Fears Fear is the ultimate game-changer, especially when it comes to making a decision that could impact your goals in life. You're either plunging feet first  into something you know absolutely nothing about or you are sitting on the side of life wondering what the heck happened ten years from now.  Maybe it's that idea of failing that has you scared and running or maybe you are simply exhausted and not ready to face another challenge. I know what it's like and just how easy it can drain you.  But what if you could **push past that fear**. What if you could face that challenge head-on and live your life to the fullest. You can, but I guess the real question is what's stopping you?  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/40-How-to-Stop-Being-Scared-in-Life-and-Just-Truly-Live-ep33c2 I know with the covid crisis we have all been a little more cautious with our lives. Yet we cannot continue to live in fear for the rest of our lives. Instead of going through a daily motion of safe, we need to throw caution out the window and live in the moment. Live like there is no tomorrow.  Step up to the plate and bring it. Stop letting fear get in your way. Mistakes happen and are a learning experience. Learn from them and keep moving forward. Change a different direction if you must, but do it.  Not sure where to start?  Start with the smallest task and work from there. Once you have completed that task, move one to the next smallest task and so forth. If the tasks need to be broken down into smaller steps that are more manageable, do it.  Once you have completed one goal, move on to the next goal, starting with the smallest task again.  Taking tiny steps *(tasks)* to get to your ultimate goal lets you push past your fears without feeling as overwhelmed. You can do this. All you need to do is take that step. Ready to get motivated? **Write Your Goals Down -** Grab a pen and paper and write out each of your goals. Then take it one step further by breaking down each of your goals into the steps you know you will need to take to get there.   **Take Those Steps -** Stop making excuses. Stop worrying about the what-ifs. Give yourself 15 minutes of your undivided attention and start stepping.  **Do it Often -** Once you have spent 15 minutes working on your goal, repeat that habit daily. The more time you spend on the task (*step*) at hand, the quicker you get to achieve your goal!  **Power Through it -** When you are feeling overwhelmed or unmotivated, step back and take a small break. Go for a short walk, turn up the music, play a video game, or grab a mug of your favorite herbal tea before you get back to your goal! **Visualize it -** To keep your motivation going, create a visual board. Cut out photos from magazines of your wish list, your dream goals. You can even add powerful words that inspire you to succeed. Visual boards are a great way to envision what your future could become if you stay on track and stay focused!

Just Believe in Yourself Have you ever experienced a time where you had to do something on your own because no one supported you?  When I started my journey as a **freelance writer working from home**, I was told I was just playing online. When I started bringing in a full-time paycheck with my online job, I was told to get a real job. And when I was the only one supporting the household and keeping us afloat, I was sent email after email of what they deemed as real jobs where I didn't work from home even though my freelance writing was doing well.  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/1-8-Lessons-Ive-learned-When-Transitioning-to-a-Successful-Work-From-Home-Job-eeghpg I tried to ignore everything that was thrown at me, but in the end, I caved in and got what they deemed as a real job. And that's when it all went bad.  Less than 18 months later that real job closed its doors permanently.  I had less than a year to find another job and I still had no support. Not even from those so-called real job supporters whom I gave in for.  Now here I am older and wiser, and working online once again. I am happier than I have ever been even on the days where everything goes totally wrong. Trust me it will happen and you will not be prepared for it.  While I once yearned for that support where someone you believed in, also believed in you. But that time has come and gone, and that's okay because I learned to believe in myself.  When I started working from home, things were not smooth sailing. We were going through a crisis with the covid virus and everything we knew about life was at a standstill. I learned to believe in myself.  And while  I'm no longer alone on my working from home journey, there are days when I still have to remember that and believe in myself.    Try to find the support you need that will encourage you to keep moving forward, keep going until you reach the very end.  But make sure you also **believe in yourself**.  Because why should anyone believe in you, if you can't?  https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/52-You-Are-Important-ev4b7h As for my own story, I refused to back down. I refused to let one of my life goals pass me by once again.  And yours? Well, alone or not, just remember I believe in you and I cannot wait to see where your journey leads you!
