Good Morning, 🌞 Trying to stay positive this week. 3 major events that have happened. 🔷 Sewer line blockage, which is slowly getting fixed and will hopefully be finished by Monday, weather permitting. 🔶 Our home insurance has tripled despite that our house is in great shape aside from the sewer line issue that is being resolved and we are never late with our payments, so we are unsure why this is happening. 🔺 Both of the belts on my car broke at the same time yesterday evening while driving back from grocery shopping. I lost steering, power and brakes. I was lucky enough to have made it into a gas station and be towed home. I have two different opinions on my car, neither of which are good news and the person who will be working on my car is attempting to tell me I must take it to be worked on, so when I decided to take it to a familyy member who is a certified mechanic and could use the money, I was told I would not and they who don't have any real knowledge on vehicles will just work on it themselves. This is also possible the reason the belts broke in the first place and there is still a power steering fluid leak coming from somewhere. The only thing that may save this is the neighbor next door is a mechanic and they have agreed to tell them what parts they need to at least fix the car. Sigh. I honestly need to think about a lot of things. Yes, I could work on my own car and learn, I do know some mechanic work, but time is not on my side at the moment.
