4 Reasons Why You're Always Fatigued
Nearly every day I'm aware that my energy isn't always up to par. I know how important it can be and try to keep it in check. Yet, I know that there will always be days when my fatigue, a symptom associated with **ADHD** will leave me completely drained. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--3-ADHD-and-Being-Your-Own-Boss-ef1k2a
If it's one thing I have learned in my later years, it's that energy is essential, especially with those of us with ADHD!
If I had more energy I would have every task on my to-do list knocked out!! What would you do if you had more energy? Would you do like I did and finish a project you have been putting off for months? Or would you use it in some other way?
For those of us with ADHD, we spend most of our time each day just trying to find the energy we need to make it through the day. Yet with every move we make it literally drains us of energy. And while those moves may be minor, they add up and by the end of your work day, you are exhausted to the point of being done! Any activity we had on our to-do list, we are not going to do!
Yet, here's the thing, when we are focused we have more energy! We tend to avoid the things that threaten to drain our energy and just focus! It's a fantastic feeling, but does require discipline!
The most common energy zappers are:
**Processed Foods -** I get that you are sick and tired of hearing about processed foods being the bad guy. But truthfully, most processed foods contain sugars that your body cannot digest properly. That processed breakfast cereal may give you a boost of energy for a short while, but it will also leave you feeling drained and starving for real nutrition before your lunch break!
To keep your energy level in check, try incorporating extra protein into your diet. Protein is essential for sustained energy, allowing you to power through your day and focus on your work.
**Multitasking -** When you have ADHD, one of the most common symptoms is multitasking. Our brains get bored quickly, so we often find ourselves moving on to another task.
Unfortunately, when you multitask, you are also wasting energy because you have to re-focus every time you switch tasks.
Instead of wasting your energy on multitasking, make a to-do list and pick one small task that can be completed in 5 minutes or less. Then move on to the next task, and repeat. Focusing on one task allows you to keep moving forward without wasting energy.
**Your To-Do List -** Having a to-do list helps keep your **ADHD** mind focused and on task, but if yours is so long that you've barely put a dent in it by the end of your day, you'll feel your energy plummet from the mere thought of what you didn't accomplish. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--79-Are-Your-ADHD-Symptoms-Holding-You-Back-e19sejn
Instead of trying to knock out a to-do list that keeps getting longer, break it down into 2 lists. The first to-do list should only have the tasks that are important and need your immediate attention. The second list should be saved for the tasks that you want to get done, but don't have a time limit on them.
By separating your tasks into two to-do lists, you'll accomplish more without feeling overwhelmed or fatigued.
**Organizing -** One of the most frustrating symptoms of ADHD is being disorganized. Piling things up in a corner is much easier than trying to sort all of that stuff! Yet, clutter can make a person with ADHD feel overwhelmed and drained of energy just from the thought of tackling the mess.
If the thought of organizing your clutter is too overwhelming, you could clear your mess by hiding it in a closet or drawer to tackle another day. Just having a clean area, even if it's only temporary, can be a welcoming sight.
Being aware of when you're feeling fatigued will give you the advantage of understanding what's causing it, so you can find the solution to feeling more energetic and power through your day a little easier.
Why Excessive Worrying Can Harm Your Health and How to Manage it
How often do you find yourself worrying about how others see you? Do you worry about other aspects of your life like your relationships, your health, your career, or whether you can afford to make that next car payment? Or are you the type of person who worries about what others think of you?
To be honest, it's only human to worry and of course, there is that desire to fit in among others, to be accepted and feel loved. Yet that worry can also be the result of unrealistic expectations that have been there for years.
Worrying also hits the hardest when you have been diagnosed with a **mental health disease like ADHD**, which can also affect your self-esteem, making you more vulnerable to caring what others think. And while It's not always a major concern to be worried about how others see you, it can be a problem when it takes control of your life. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--79-Are-Your-ADHD-Symptoms-Holding-You-Back-e19sejn
When you start to compare yourself to others and worry to the point it causes you unnecessary stress, maybe it's time to re-evaluate their role in your life. Are they someone who couldn't care less if they're in your life? Or do they value your relationship?
If you are at the point where you are miserable in your life because you worry about how that person sees you, take a break from them and see how it makes you feel.
When you're miserable it affects every aspect of your life, including work. When you're not happy, your productivity is rarely at its best.
When you're happy, not only does it contribute to both your mental and physical health, it also creates a positive environment at work, which often results in **better productivity**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/56-How-to-Focus-on-Your-Health-When-You-Have-ADHD-e10f9ru
Of course, you could put on a fake smile, continue to worry about the opinion of others, and feel downright miserable, but you deserve better.
Achieving happiness isn't an overnight success story, however. It's a never-ending learning process that will take work. You'll have to accept that not every day in your life will be a happy one. There will be moments when you will have to find a solution to handle an unwanted opinion and move forward.
Remember just because you were diagnosed with ADHD it doesn't mean you can't manage your symptoms. It simply means you must learn how to manage them by focusing on your strengths and what works for you and not everyone else.
Decide what makes you happy and make it a goal! Write a detailed description of how being happy will feel and how it will affect your life. What steps will you need to take to get there? Break down each of those steps to make them attainable.
Then, follow through with your goal, even if you are left standing on your own. Taking care of your mental health is never an excuse or as simple as just getting over your symptoms. Don't worry about what others believe is correct.
Instead find support through counseling, apps, social media groups, and websites that focus on mental health and ADHD. Having a positive support system can help you through a bad day and offer strategies you may not have considered before.
Finally, keep yourself in check. Don't engage in negative talk even when it's coming from inside your head. If you are worried about what someone thinks of you, and you're overwhelmed with negative emotions, visualize a positive reaction. Focus on what you want others to notice about you instead of what you think they see.
Skip the worry and find your happy moments. You and only you have the power to choose a different path in life.
5 Ways to Keep Yourself In Check During the Holidays
The Holidays are quickly approaching and what better way to keep yourself in check by:
**Changing Your Frame of Mind -** Don't beat yourself up if you indulge in a slice of pie for Thanksgiving or you find yourself ho-hum about the Holidays.
Many of us are right there with you and despite our setbacks, we are only human! Forgive yourself instead of putting yourself down for what does or doesn't feel right at the moment.
Now that's not to say it should be a moment that doesn't change because you so deserve to have the life you want and to be focused on your health!
Ultimately the choice is yours, but know that I'm behind you 100 percent. Now, If you're still with me, make a note of what your goals are in life and focus on them, one positive step at a time.
**Listening to Your Body -** If it's one thing I have learned as I have grown older, it's that you have to be willing to listen to your body if you want to feel your absolute best both physically and mentally.
Instead of focusing on what you know is bad for your body, focus on what you know is better for your health. Bring your own dessert to your family's Christmas dinner so that you can control what goes into your body. Yes, it is possible to create a holiday treat that isn't processed and is good for you. Create recipes that focus on real foods such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, and lean uncured meats.
Holiday get-togethers don't have to make you feel like you can't enjoy food. Just enjoy them in a healthy and natural way that isn't processed.
**Growing in Knowledge -** At the start of the pandemic, I was introduced to an alternative online library app, that I have grown fond of. It has provided me with a way to read more books on everything from **ADHD** to **social media marketing**. More recently I've been checking out ebooks on topics like working from home to help me achieve my goals. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--3-ADHD-and-Being-Your-Own-Boss-ef1k2a https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--74-Why-Affiliate-Marketing-Could-Create-You-Unlimited-Online-Income-e17qcpa
Read a self-improvement book, listen to a **work-from-home podcast** or take an online affiliate marketing class if it helps get you one step closer to your goals. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher
**Move Your Body -** If it's one thing that I have learned as I've gotten older, it's that my body doesn't move as fast as it did when I was young. Aches and pains I feel daily and I don't bounce back as easily. I also find myself more fatigued due to the hormonal changes of perimenopause and my ADHD. So I have vowed to get up and move every day, no excuses. I use my elliptical machine or my home gym 3 to 4 times a week. When the weather is nice I'll go for a walk with my youngest son.
For me, working out gives me a boost of energy that allows me to get through the rest of my day.
But I also understand that not everyone can find the time to work out. Even if you don't think you can get a workout in, there is always a way to move your body. For example, you could climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator, walk to your neighborhood store instead of driving or walk your dog more often. It doesn't matter what you do as long as you move your body.
**Take Control Of Your Life -** Don't let setbacks be in charge of you or your goals. If you are the one holding you back through your thoughts and beliefs, take action and change them. And you can't tell the world that you're going to change and expect it to happen. You have to **take control of your life** and make it happen. You have to make the first move and keep moving. Find the good, even in the worst moments. But most importantly, keep moving forward! https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--73-Why-Its-Worth-Taking-The-Chance-e16trh9
How to Handle the Mood Swings of ADHD
Anxiety, anger, fear, and depression are often feelings every one of us has experienced at some point in our lives. But when you have been **diagnosed with ADHD**, those feelings happen more often than we want to admit. If your mood swings are making your life or other lives miserable, sooner or later it all ends in stress, and that my friend is never a good thing. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--76-The-Power-of-ADHD-e18i8kn
The world is full of opinions and judgments, so much that it is often scary. It happens every day. And it's affecting so many people!
Last night I felt my mood change in a negative direction all because of the opinion of others. Have you ever felt your emotions take control after reacting to something that made you upset? And how did you react? Did that change anything except your angry mood? Did you blame others?
It does not matter what we believe is right or wrong, blame doesn't fix anything. Neither does anger or starting a fight on or offline just because you don't like what's being said.
Blaming others just because, doesn't help your life in any way. Sure, it might make you feel better knowing that you are right because you know you are, but again it doesn't help your life.
And being angry doesn't help your life either. In fact, your anger may be the reason for your stress. So why are you still doing the things that raise your anxiety and make you angry?
Instead, focus on:
Solutions to Managing Your Mood
Being Productive
Improving Your Health
Creating a Positive Mindset
Your self-image can also be contagious in a sense. If you don't like the way you feel about yourself it can reflect in the way you treat others.
Changing the way you see things rather than giving in to negative self-talk can make a huge difference when it comes to managing the mood swings caused by ADHD.
All it takes is **a positive mindset** and seeing things from a different perspective. So if you are focusing on negative words, you will experience depression, anger, anxiety, stress, etc. If you change your focus and refuse to allow those negative thoughts to control who you are, all of those mood swings and bad feelings will change as well. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--3-ADHD-and-Being-Your-Own-Boss-ef1k2a
There have been so many times in my life where I've faced moments of frustration and setbacks. Yet I prevailed because I changed my mindset and focused on the positive moments instead. Of course, it wasn't something I achieved overnight! In fact, it's still a work-in -progress that I have carried over to every area in my life.
Instead of dwelling on what life has thrown your way, focus on the good things, even if they are small. Of course, we are only human and when things get tough sometimes we can't always see the positive moments in our lives, but that's when you fight back and learn to change your perspective.
Only you can change how you look at things! Sure, someone can hold your hand and cheer you on, but only you can change your perspective!
It does you no good to dwell and worry over something that is beyond your control. The only thing worrying does is cause unnecessary stress.
If you want to change your perspective in life, you must be willing to become the person who is already there! You have to pretend like you are already one step ahead of your mood swings and ADHD.
Be the version of you who is in control of your ADHD symptoms and you will prevail.
How to Harness the Power of Your ADHD Symptoms
What if instead of stressing out about anything and everything in your life, you were cool, calm, and collected knowing that you have control of your ADHD!
**What a powerful moment that would be!**
But if being in control of your ADHD isn't where you are at right now, maybe you, someone, or something is holding you back from being in control.
I see so many adults who don't know where to start because they are overwhelmed and stressed to the max when trying to get their **ADHD symptoms** under control. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--3-ADHD-and-Being-Your-Own-Boss-ef1k2a
Adults who have ADHD often find themselves:
**Unfocused and all over the place -** To me, ADHD is a powerful tool, and its symptoms like focus are a part of that power!
Yet even I have found myself all over the place in my daily life. I'll find myself changing the details of a project every few seconds without even realizing it. Or, I'll attempt to create and chat about a wide range of topics for my work. After a few weeks of this routine, I'll get in a blah, unproductive mode and realize that I'm doing too much at once!
So much that I have had to discipline myself into focusing on just one area at a time in my life. Too many pickles on my plate and I'm going to find myself in burnout mode again if I'm not careful.
If I can just focus on one task at a time, it will give me the power to be in control of my ADHD. It will also allow me to power through my day and get those long-awaited tasks finally completed. I'll be honest, it's harder than heck to not want to start something new instead of focusing on the current task. But I've had way more days when I'm staying focused, versus my ADHD being all over the place.
It feels fabulous to be in control of my ADHD symptoms for once. And I know that if I can take charge and stay focused, I can do anything! And, so can you!
So start with focusing on one task at a time and see where it leads you. Even if you can only manage one of your symptoms, you're still one step ahead of ADHD as long as you continue to stay in control.
**Not Being Organized -** Let's face it, this is one of those areas we hate! I mean who the heck wants to spend hours cleaning up a mess! Then again, if we think about it, who the heck wants to spend hours just looking for something that is lost somewhere in a disorganized messy corner.
So maybe it's better to look at it as, if you want to find those important papers you had to fill out last week that are hidden under that stack of junk mail on your desk, you need to **focus on getting organized**! https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--76-The-Power-of-ADHD-e18i8kn
And throwing your mail into the letter holder and calling it good, isn't how organizing works!
You have to sort through and separate, then categorize and store everything in its place. If anything, organizing can be tedious work, yet also rewarding!
So maybe when it comes to getting organized you're thinking:
I don't know where to even start
I don't have time to organize
When I try to organize my life, my family clutters it up again, so I've given up on the idea!
I get overwhelmed every time I even think about organization.
I'm sentimental and feel attached to everything, so I rarely throw anything away.
Well, guess what, they are not a reason not to get organized. They are the reason!
You can keep telling yourself and everyone around you whatever reason you have for your disorganized ways, but it won't change the fact that those important papers we talked about earlier, still haven't been found! That pile of sewing fabric on the kitchen table is still an overwhelming eyesore every time you walk past it.
If you start to focus on the things that create stress in your life like that disorganized closet, you will soon begin to feel less overwhelmed and more in control of your life.
If don't find some sort of calm to the mess in your life, it could end up draining your finances and even affect your health.
Start with 5 minutes a day, one corner at a time until it's become a daily habit. If you can manage more than 5 minutes of organizing, go for it! But keep doing it because that's how real change happens. That's how in the end, when it's all organized and done, you can truly see the impact of all of your hard work. And that my friend is you in control!
**Low Self Image -** If there is one thing that I've learned over the years, it's that the world can and always will be a cruel place. There will always be those who make fun of others, just as there will always be those who stand up and fight back. It's up to you to decide who you will be.
Even if you find yourself standing on your own in a world full of people, there's no better place to be if it means being you. If it means refusing to allow toxic relationships in your life, do it!
Don't allow others to steal your joy. Don't allow them to put you down or convince you that you are not worth it. Not sure how?
Decide whether or not you can distance yourself from the toxic relationship. If it's a friend, calmly explain your reason and walk away from the relationship.
If it's a family member or someone you are unable to completely avoid, silence their words in your mind and remove yourself from the environment as soon as possible.
Sometimes it can be hard for us to see our self-worth when we have been put down more times than we care to admit. This is where you will want to surround yourself with those who respect you, lift you up, not bring you down.
So now that you know just how powerful of a tool your ADHD can be once you choose to be in control of it, what symptom is holding you back?
Are you more inclined to lose focus in your life? Do you find yourself becoming overwhelmed every single day because of the chaotic mess that's still waiting on you? Or maybe you can't seem to shake the negative thoughts, your mindset that leaves you constantly feeling depressed, sad, and lonely.
Knowing which of your **ADHD symptoms** is holding you back and what you need to do to be in control of your life is the first big step in making it happen. You can do this, my friend! So let's do this! https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/56-How-to-Focus-on-Your-Health-When-You-Have-ADHD-e10f9ru
4 Steps to More Money Using Affiliate Marketing
If I could offer you my best advice as an affiliate marketer, it would be:
**Make Your Intentions Obvious -** If your goal is to **make affiliate marketing your full-time job**, you must be willing to get to know your followers on a personal level. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--2-Used-Bras--and-Why-You-Should-Never-Put-All-of-Your-Eggs-into-One-Basket-as-an-Entrepreneur-eev0ko
You have to get to know your fans like one of your best friends. You need to know what they are struggling with, and what their biggest worries are.
Once you know their exact needs, you can:
**Give Your Followers Exactly What They Want -** If you have a great product you know and love that you believe can also help your audience solve a need, then share it with them. If the product or service you want to share is a passion of yours but doesn't help your followers in any way, you should keep it to yourself.
You're not here to just throw up a few affiliate links that you love and hope for a sale! You are here to make it about your people, your fans.
Start by asking what they need right now, then focus on the products you know and trust that will help resolve those needs.
**Give Your Audience a Reason to Respond Immediately -** People don't always click an affiliate link just because it's there. They want to think about your offer until they have made a decision, which can result in a long wait and loss of a sale.
You need to give them a reason to click on your link within a specific time frame so that they don't have forever to respond.
Provide people with a freebie bonus only available for 7 days, if they click on your affiliate link and purchase the product or service within that specified time and with proof of purchase.
**Create a Sales Funnel to Increase Your Income -** If you already have several products that aren't the same, but are related to your latest affiliate link offer, set up a sales funnel for them.
That way, you can bring in additional income from those affiliated links, but you don't have to promote them on their own anymore.
To create your affiliate links sales funnel you must have:
A huge lead magnet that will attract your customers and give your funnel a boost.
An extra bonus
A series of at least 7 content posts created around your latest offer.
With these 4 steps, you will be well on your way to **creating more income with affiliate marketing**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--77-How-to-Create-a-1K-a-Month-Plan-Using-Affiliate-Marketing-e18q0lb
Now, you must know that it won't be easy. And of course, you will need to do the work. But it isn't Impossible, simply doable!
How to Create Content Your Audience Won't Ignore
*How are you doing at creating content your readers won't ignore?*
*How do you know if all of your hard work is being devoured or if it's boring enough that they rarely take an interest in what you have to share with them?*
Even if you are on every social media platform available, it doesn't mean diddly squat if what you are sharing with your followers isn't **paying the bills**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--1-8-Lessons-Ive-learned-When-Transitioning-to-a-Successful-Work-From-Home-Job-eeghpg
If you are going to invest your precious time in doing all of the work, it had better be the best you have to offer if you want your audience to take notice.
Your content needs to show your audience every possible reason why they should be focused on what you have to say to them.
*What makes you different from anyone else who has a similar niche?*
*How will you stand out from the crowd?*
*Are you sharing a solution to your readers' problems?*
If you are just giving them what you think they want, you are not setting yourself up for the bigger picture. If you want to see your audience stand up and take notice, start creating content that will give them a reason to do so.
Then, instead of trying to be a part of the crowd, be the one who stands out. There's an opportunity knocking at your door if you are willing to answer it. Be the one who shares the content that doesn't sugarcoat anything. Point out the areas where no one else would dare go and then talk about them! You just might be surprised at how much attention it gets from those who see it.
Now it's time to allow your audience to find out more information about the reason behind the content you created for them. If you want to increase the income potential for your business, a call to action is essential.
Your followers need to know what to do next. Don't leave them guessing. Give your people a link that tells them to click for more information about you and your products, or provide them with a download to a freebie.
Be sure your call to action tells your readers exactly why they should click your link.
**For example:** if you are trying to promote an affiliate product for severely dry skin relief you might say, "Click here to learn how to relieve your winter dry skin." You could even mention a specific skin type like ichthyosis.
*Now that you know what it takes to keep your readers attention, how will you use it to your advantage?*
The Best Way to Connect With Your Audience
Giving your followers a story will help you connect with them on a more personal level. You want them to engage in your content and what better way than by creating a story.
Stories are a breath of fresh air compared to everything else happening in our daily lives. Your followers want to experience a connection with you, so why not take advantage of that opportunity?
**If you want your followers to click your affiliate link**, give them a reason to do so. Give them your story. Let them know that they are not just another paycheck to you. Show your readers that you are just as human as they are. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--4-How-to-Make-Money-Reviewing-Fashion-and-Music-with-Slicethepie-ef4383
One way you can do that is with Instagram Stories. It's a great social media tool to take full advantage of because you can simply be you and your audience will love it!
They want to follow someone that they can relate to. Someone who feels more like a friend rather than a salesperson just out to make a number.
When your audience sees you as a human being focused on achieving success, it is motivating! It's showing them that if you can accomplish your goals, they can too!
You don't need to produce a high-end video to capture the attention of your intended audience.
All you need is to:
Give people the opportunity to be a part of your daily life. Show them what it's like to be in your shoes no matter how messy things may get. Those real moments are what your audience wants to see. They want to know all of the juicy details of what you are working on with your online business and if it will benefit them as well. This is where you can get them excited about the latest products and services that you have to offer, whether it is through an affiliate link or something you have created yourself.
You can also create an Instagram Story that gives your viewers the chance to learn something new about your chosen niche. An insight they might not be able to find anywhere else.
Take advantage of all of the features of Instagram Stories by adding a poll or other fun feature to your story to engage even more with your viewers.
Then, continue sharing your Instagram Stories at a minimum of no less than 3 days a week if you want to grow your business.
*What are you waiting for?*
I've been dabbling with read.cash again and affiliate marketing. I started affiliate marketing as one of my income sources because it's consistent and profitable. I decided to post an article about:
Creating 1K a Month with AffiliateMarketing https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/how-to-create-a-1k-a-month-plan-in-3-easy-steps-bcd6f17c
If it's something you are interested in.
Now, Off to my next adventure with my podcasting channel, #Thefightwithinher
How to Create a 1K a Month Plan with Affiliate Marketing in 3 Easy Steps
Slowly, but productively the home we own is getting an upgrade. There are so many little details that I have been wanting to do, but I haven't found any real time to accomplish it all, and **resources are limited in the small community I live in**. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--9-How-to-Save-Money-in-a-Small-Town-eh5379
Yet my ultimate goal is to retire on an island somewhere, so time is limited because the house needs those upgrades before it can be sold.
Last week our insurance company called to fill me in on a few additional upgrades needed to keep the policy current.
When you are a homeowner, it can be just a little overwhelming just trying to keep up with all of the maintenance. Throw in the requirements needed to keep your home insured and it can be downright stressful!
Of course, it didn't help that my ADHD brain literally forgot about those little details that are required!
*I just remember thinking, wow that's not going to be a reasonable upgrade!*
Thankfully, I have about a 10-month time frame to do it in. I know it won't be easy. There are still those other upgrades that will be needed as well. And frankly, my thoughts are will I ever make my retirement goal?
But then I'm also thankful for that phone call because, with my ADHD, I can forget even the important stuff like the requirements to continue my insurance coverage.
And today, I'm focused on the bigger picture, the ultimate goal. I may not have all of the answers like where to find a wide variety of resources in a small town, but I do know what it takes to accomplish a goal!
Now that I have an idea of what it's going to cost to finish remodeling the house, I am going to make a goal of **making $1k consistently** with my job. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--4-How-to-Make-Money-Reviewing-Fashion-and-Music-with-Slicethepie-ef4383
I know this is a huge goal, but I also know it's worth my time. It will require a step-by-step breakdown, or I will find myself distracted instead of focusing on it.
So to start, I need to focus more on:
**Creating Affiliate Product Links That Solve a Problem -**
If you're already familiar with affiliate marketing, then you probably know solving a problem for your audience is a must. But if you want to hit the $1k a month goal, you'll need to do a little research to figure out exactly what problem your audience needs help resolving.
Before you share your next affiliate product link or service, **get to know your audience's needs**. If that product recommendation isn't something your audience can relate to, you may want to reconsider sharing it with them. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--11-How-Sam-Winchester-Changed-My-Life-ei97ra
If your customers are telling you what they want, listen to them!
If the product or service link is only a temporary fix to your tribe's problem, don't recommend it. You want to resolve a problem for them, not share a solution that only sort of helps.
**Find the Right Audience -**
Just because your followers have a problem that can be resolved, does not mean they can invest in the product or service you are providing.
If you're attempting to target an audience that can't afford to spend money on your recommended affiliate links, don't expect to make any money.
Focus on those who can purchase your products or services and want to continue investing in them if you want to see bigger profits.
**Give Your Audience Easy Access To Your Affiliate Marketing Links -**
Losing a sale because you weren't available to answer a question, take their payment information, or were just hoping they would find your affiliate links and make that purchase isn't how to make that $1k a month goal!
Instead, you must have an effective way to give your customers what they want that will sell them on your product or service even while you're sleeping.
One solution would be to provide an automated email that will give your tribe everything they need to click on your affiliate link.
Another solution you could give them is a detailed video about the product or service you are offering that can be viewed on a social media platform like YouTube 24/7.
**Now it's time to follow the steps above, then repeat the process to $1k success.**
Working on articles today, among other things. I just posted an article I wrote about the Power of ADHD, if you are interested.
https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/the-power-of-adhd-23a0180e
I've had to change the way I think about mental health because this world will never see it differently, and that's okay! It's better to stand up and fight back than sit back and stay silent!
The Power of ADHD
Did you know that I wasn't **diagnosed with ADHD** until I was 41? It was one of those "I suspected it" moments that tend to happen now and then. But that one particular moment I felt a sense of relief. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--3-The-Power-of-ADHD-and-Being-Your-Own-Boss-ef1k2a
Before then I had always suspected I had ADHD because I struggled with:
Focus
Forgetfulness
Interrupting Others
Listening
I knew those were all **symptoms related to ADHD**, but I never considered just how much it impacted my daily life until later in life. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/Real-Life-Inside-the-Mind-of-an-ADHD-Mom-ejftk3
What I have learned after my diagnosis is that ADHD (*Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder*) can be a powerful ally when you are an entrepreneur.
Those of us with ADHD are often extremely successful because we tend to have several traits of the mental health disease that can benefit our entrepreneur side.
For example, we are very impulsive and often make decisions rather quickly. This could be a plus when you are your own boss since there may be times you will need or want to make a decision fast involving your business.
We also tend to become easily distracted. Yet as an entrepreneur, a distraction could be in our favor since we see things in detail that others do not.
We are sometimes Hyper-focused to the point we learn quickly, a benefit for those of us who are building our own business.
And we often give more and more and more because we have this dire need for perfection, which can be great for our customers!
So as you can see, those of us who have ADHD, while we might not excel in school or at a job working for someone else, we surpass in being our own boss.
If you can learn how to take advantage of your ADHD, it can be a very powerful tool.
Instead of believing that ADHD is a disadvantage, start learning how to harness its powers.
Don't let your mental health diagnosis become an excuse. Use it to your advantage and believe in yourself! The fight is not over!
I started editing the second of my Sci-fi series, The Generation. If you have not read, The Generation, it's available on Amazon. https://amzn.to/2Zurx5c

The Exsistence
Chapter 1
A blinding bolt of lightning lit up the sky, followed by a loud crack of thunder, a warning that an angry storm was headed her way. Soon, the heavy rains came and a strong gust of wind appeared out of nowhere, nearly forcing her to the ground.
She squinted through the downpour, her vision blurred, praying the road wasn’t much further.
Another bolt of lightning struck, this time too close for comfort. She picked up her pace, running through the downpour, but the ground was soft enough that it gave way beneath her feet, surrounding her in complete darkness.
Reaching out, she grasped at the crumbling soil, searching for something, anything that would keep her from slipping further into the darkness. But mother nature would not be so kind tonight.
The soil that for one brief moment, had been a tiny desperation of hope, was now an oozing wall of muck that would be her end. She found herself slipping further and further into the darkness, into a cold nothingness, where death waited. Oh God, she was going to die.
She closed her eyes and prayed for her death to be quick. It was at that moment when she heard a faint voice call down to her from above.
"Hello? Is someone down there?" They were words, barely recognizable, but to her an answered prayer, a stranger willing to risk their life, to save her own.
She found her voice from somewhere deep within. "Help me please."
"Take my hand." A male voice answered. His words led her to reach up through the thick oozing mud, until the solid grasp of a strong masculine hand met hers.
She felt herself being pulled out of the darkness to the surface above, until her feet connected with solid ground. Safe. Oh dear God, she was finally safe. Now, piercing blue eyes stared at her, eyes so familiar, she decided somehow, somewhere in that darkness, death had played a cruel trick and managed to call her name.
"Sara?" It wasn't possible. It couldn't be. He was gone. Forever. Yet, the man, the man she had once known, once loved, stood before her, as real as the storm that had threatened her very existence. Those piercing blue eyes stared back, eyes that seemed to be searching for something until a sign of recognition fell across his face. "Sara, it is you!"
He was no longer a stranger and that pain she had once known, the sting of tears that had fallen for months, her soul ripped in half, found its way back somehow. Had she screamed his name, she suddenly couldn't remember.
"David!" She felt hot uncontrollable tears fall from her cheeks as her body collapsed against his and strong arms pulled her closer. Heaven help her if this was only a dream.
For those of you who are waiting on Georgia's story, I decided it was time to bring her back to life. I miss writing, it's time once again. This is a rough draft of Georgia's Story:
🔪🔪🔪🔪
The tiny rustic brick bungalow that sat on the corner of Housel and Pecan Road stood deathly silent tonight. There were no lights to indicate the presence of anyone at home. The television that often blared well into the night, slept as peacefully as the neighborhood.
But, for those who knew the tiny rustic bungalow, it was a rare event, perhaps one that may have even been disturbing, had they learned that just inside the doorway of that tiny bungalow, a young woman known only as Georgia Ryans lay crumpled on the naked wooden floor.
It's been a blessing so far today day.
I've been working on staying productive today with an article I submitted about using affiliate marketing links to create income online. Will you be the next leader of the pack in affiliate marketing? 🤔
https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/4-rules-you-need-to-know-if-you-want-to-succeed-at-affiliate-marketing-61f30b3d
4 Rules You Need to Know If You Want to Succeed at Affiliate Marketing
One of the biggest potential earners I use in making money online is affiliate marketing.
Over the past several years I have managed to **generate as much as $100 in income in just under a week using affiliate links.** https://amzn.to/3k78ntQ
One of the biggest reasons I love affiliate marketing is because it allows me to share products and services that I use regularly with my readers who may be interested in them as well.
When my readers click on the provided affiliate link and purchase the recommended product or service, I receive a certain percentage of that sale.
And the best part about affiliate marketing is, you can get started immediately. You also don't need to invest any money or store any merchandise.
However, you do need to understand the basics of creating and using affiliate links if you want to become successful at creating potential unlimited income from it.
For most of us, it's fairly easy to recommend and share a product or service that we are passionate about. The hard part is getting others to click on that link and purchase the product or service you are recommending continuously.
If you want to succeed at affiliate marketing you must be willing to:
**Give Your Readers a Reason to Trust Your Recommendations -** If you want your readers to purchase your recommendation, you must first and foremost earn their trust. Give them a glimpse of the real you and the challenges you have faced in your life. Your readers need to know that they can relate and vice versa.
When your readers feel like they know you and can trust your judgment, they may feel more confident in knowing that a product or service that you recommend is also trustworthy. Even if your reader wasn't sure before, they may decide that your recommendation is worth the investment.
Just remember, your trust means being honest with your readers, so you want to recommend only the products and services you truly believe in. If you try to base your recommendations on just anything, you risk losing that trust and your readers.
**You're Not the Only Affiliate Marketer Recommending Your Favorite Products or Services -** You have got to be willing to stand out from the crowd if you want to win your readers over and earn their trust.
*So how do you do just that?*
By including exclusive bonuses that are a part of the product or service.
You could even include your own products or services if you want to include additional resources for profit. If you want to keep things much simpler, you could include a How-To guide or personal note with your reader's affiliate-related purchase.
If you want to take it to the next level, you could include a **personalized video** that includes a demonstration of the product or service you are recommending to them. You could even provide answers to any questions they may have about the product or service they are interested in. Then keep in touch with them and make sure everything is going great long after their purchase. https://youtube.com/user/theinsanewriter
Focus on additional features about the product or service that no one else has provided online and share them with your readers. If you have several products that relate to one another, group them as a recommended set to your readers.
If you can provide those affiliated product links through one online retailer, you'll give your readers a simplified shopping experience that doesn't have them visiting several websites to purchase the recommended products.
**Show Your Readers What The Product or Service is All About -** It's reassuring when your readers can see the product you are recommending and how to use it. Creating a video that shows you opening the product and using it, gives your readers a chance to see the product you are promoting and an inside look at how it will help them. Social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok, and Instagram all offer video creation tools that are fairly simple to use even if you are a **beginner in videography**.
Plus, when you use platforms like YouTube to upload your affiliate-related videos, you are increasing your earning potential through traffic that sees your video.
**Don't Spread Your Product Love Too Thin -** One of the worst things you can do to your readers is make them choose between two very similar products or services that you love. For example, you use and love two brands of daily facial moisturizer. Instead of making your readers choose, you need to decide on which moisturizer you love the best and promote that one only.
Forcing your readers to decide between two very similar products can result in not earning a commission from that product's affiliate link because they didn't know which one to choose!
Affiliate marketing can be one of the greatest tools in creating income online, but just like any business, it requires patience and understanding if you want to continue earning a profit that pays you consistently.
*All you have to do is be willing to learn.*
Tonight I finally decided I needed to wrap up another article through Read.cash.
Why You Should Use Affiliate Marketing Links
https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/why-you-should-use-affiliate-marketing-links-4f0a8506
Wondering what I should write next.. 🤔
Why You Should Use Affiliate Marketing Links
*Oh wow, do I have a story to tell you!*
My very first source of affiliate income that I made online was from a link I had created that pointed to an Amazon product on my writing blog, **The Insane Writer**. http://thefightwithinher.blogspot.com/?m=1
And while the affiliate link only provided **$1.00**, it was the best moment of my **blogging life** because I was making money online! https://www.facebook.com/groups/749457542340688/?ref=share
My next big attempt at creating a source of income online didn't come until almost 9 years later, when I made the choice to publish the first part of my sci-fi series, ***"The Generation."*** I must admit, getting my novel out there wasn't easy, and promoting my book, I swear, is still one of the hardest things I have ever done. https://www.amazon.com/The-Generation-Series-Book-Volume/dp/1514255383/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?tag=theinswri-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=H5ITD4XPSMLQCBEH&creativeASIN=1514255383
I thought writing a novel would be easy. Plus, I was new to the world of self-publishing and had no idea how much actual work I was getting myself into. It took me 10 years to write "The Generation", and after I finally took that leap and hit publish, I finally began to see sales from it. While it's not a best seller, to me it was the greatest moment of my writing career.
*Yet, if I could change one thing about that moment, I would.*
I would have promoted my book a lot more than I did by creating affiliate links and sharing it on every social media platform I am a part of.
All of the products that I love and the work that I am passionate about, I could share and get paid from those participating brands through leads and any of my readers who are interested in purchasing it for themselves.
After I researched and studied affiliate marketing through others who were already successful with it, I started recommending products that I use in my life, and have earned as much as **$100** in a matter of a couple of days.
It's not uncommon to hear someone share their love for a product or even service that they truly believe in. When we are really passionate about something, we tend to let our friends and family know about it. Why not get paid for something you are already doing?
And, the best part about affiliate marketing is that it doesn't require hundreds of followers before you see a profit. You get paid, no matter how many customers you recommend. That's the easiest part!
You will need to learn how affiliate marketing works if you want to make money with it. It's not as simple as just sharing your favorite product on a social media post or blog and calling it good.
You'll want to understand the fundamentals of using affiliate links. There is a wrong way and a right way of doing it.
If you don't have a decent understanding of what goes into the process of creating and using affiliate links, chances are you won't make much income if any, and you may end up breaking rules that you weren't even aware of that sometimes comes with sharing a product or service online.
There are many good affiliate marketers online, but if you want to learn from one of the best , I highly recommend **Pat Flynn** who is best known for his Affiliate Marketing Knowledge. https://amzn.to/38TigoD
Sharing your love for your favorite products and getting paid for it is a great way to build unlimited potential income online, but you must be willing to learn how, if you want to succeed. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--65-How-to-Make-Money-Online-Even-When-Youre-Broke-e11nofv
Affiliate links are highly valuable to those who want to become a part of the growing market and knowing how to use them is an essential part of that.
If you want to **earn unlimited potential income online**, I highly recommend that you take a look at Affiliate Marketing. It is well worth the investment. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--65-How-to-Make-Money-Online-Even-When-Youre-Broke-e11nofv

🖐 Arthritis in the Hands, Its Symptoms and 5 Remedies For Natural Relief 🖐
https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/arthritis-in-the-hands-its-symptoms-and-5-natural-remedies-to-relief-a41e2993
Arthritis in the Hands, Its Symptoms and 5 Natural Remedies To Relief
Several years ago, I broke down and made an appointment with my doctor after procrastinating for months because of an accident that resulted in bruising and swelling in the palm of my left hand. As it turned out, what I originally thought was just a simple sprain, ended up being a broken bone. Of course it never dawned on me until then that it actually made perfect sense because every time I used that hand repetitively, I had non-stop pain that became unbearable in the end.
Because I waited for so long to have my hand checked out, my bones healed the best way they knew how, and arthritis set in as a result of my procrastination. Had I visited my doctor as soon as the accident happened, I might have saved myself from the arthritis and the pain it now causes!
Due to the excruciating pain, my doctor suggested I try a steroid shot. At that time, I was still new to understanding my body's dislike for chemical-related medications, so I agreed to the cortisone shot. As it turned out, I experienced a rare side effect from the shot which increased my pain level to ten times worse than what my **arthritis** had originally caused. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--15-Arthritis-in-the-Hands--Its-Symptoms-and-5-Natural-Remedies-To-Relief-ej7cs8
Why am I telling you my story? Because I don't want you to make the same mistakes that I did. If you suspect you may have more than just a simple sprain or pain, make an appointment with your doctor. And don’t assume you know the exact signs of an injury like mine.
My bruising at that time was very minimal and light blue in color. It was not at all what I expected with a broken bone. I only associated dark blue, purple or black bruises as a sign of a broken bone. If it wasn’t for the tremendous amount of pain it caused me on a daily basis, I probably would have never made an appointment with my doctor.
It also never occurred to me that I even had arthritis because I didn't bother to identify with the symptoms of the inflammation disease. I thought I was too young to have arthritis, until I realized my mother had the painful joint condition in her hands at the same age I am today. Lesson learned!
**If you are not familiar with the symptoms of Arthritis, they are:**
Painful swelling of your joints
Stiffness
Minimal movement of the affected area
Of course when it comes to **relieving the symptoms of arthritis**, many of us choose the most common option with an over-the-counter pain reliever in oral or topical form. For others, they may choose prescription relief, especially when your arthritis symptoms are severe. And while not everyone will have the same reaction I did with the Cortisone shot, I am one of those who made the decision to listen to what my body was trying to tell me. Chemical medications were not for me. https://amzn.to/3DScSQN
I chose to keep my arthritis in check with natural remedies that included:
**Exercise -**
of my biggest go-to remedies for my arthritis is exercise! And while exercise may seem painful because it requires repetition, exercising the joints affected by arthritis can help minimize the stiffness and keep you moving. I use hand exercises that allow me to stretch and massage the areas where my arthritis affects me the most.
Cold Compress -
Cold compresses can help reduce swelling caused by your arthritis when applied to the affected area. Just be sure to limit the amount of time you apply the cold compress to no more than 5 minutes to prevent numbing of the area and redness to the skin.
Warm Water or a Heating Pad-
Soaking your hand in warm water or applying a heating pad to the affected area may help reduce the swelling and pain caused by arthritis.
Hand Brace -
A hand brace designed specifically for arthritis can help keep you mobilized and reduce repetitive movements that can cause swelling and pain.
Ginger and Tumeric Spice -
Ginger and Turmeric may be beneficial for inflammation caused by arthritis. My go-to is ginger. I will make a cup of ginger tea, add it to my morning coffee or cook with it.
Turmeric can also be used in the same manner as ginger to help reduce the inflammation caused by arthritis.
On a Final Note:
When you are using natural remedies to minimize the symptoms of your arthritis, consult with your doctor first since certain prescription medications can counteract with some home remedies.

Woke up to the sounds of my cats playing. As it turned out, they caught the mouse we suspected we had. They have definitely earned their keep today.
Good Evening,
Did some editing to one of my podcast episodes titled:

I think it was a fairly productive day. I did work on some other money making tasks, but knew I also needed to update my podcast episodes, a task I had been procrastinating over.
The deed is now done! I hope you enjoy!
Good Morning,
After a bout of depression, I've been working on doing my workouts again. I've missed a few days here and there, but not today!
I have been focusing on one target area a day. Today I worked out my legs on the weight machine! This has always been the easiest target area for me in the past, but lately I have learned that is not the case!
My arms and shoulders I will focus on tomorrow. Ironically, this was once the hardest targeted area for me, but not anymore! I absolutely Love it!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙 💪💪💪💪💪💪
So I'm sitting here actually being a little productive today and getting paid for it, daily, not weekly, or bi-weekly! Proof is in the photo!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love being able to buy groceries or pay an unexpected bill with my side hustles like this one:
https://paidviewpoint.com/?r=fight
While I am still loving working from home, I did submit one of my headshots for an acting job for a major film directed by Leonardo Dicaprio in my area.
But with this new strain of Covid lurking as well in the area, I'm wondering if it is worth the risk? 🤔
Decided to try something new to me this morning in replace of my regular cup of coffee as a birthday treat today. 🎈🎂🍨🎉
I have a weakness for chocolate and peanut butter together, so I bought a few cans to try. Unfortunately, it will be the last 2 cans I ever buy from them because I could not even taste the peanut butter flavor in these. So disappointing!
Today I'm back to writing articles for Read.cash. I'm sharing my story about my son's adverse reaction to the black box medication, Seroquel.
https://read.cash/@Thefightwithinher/the-dangers-of-seroquel-in-autistic-teens-14c0cfb7
The Dangers of Seroquel in Autistic Teens
Seroquel is a black box medication that mental health providers often prescribe to patients with autism to manage their mood swings. In May of 2020, my youngest son was prescribed this medication. By June of 2020, I started to notice severe agitation in my son and expressed my concerns to his mental health provider who simply stated it was not the Seroquel and increased his dose from 150 mg to 200 mg per day. His agitation became worse and he started experiencing extreme fatigue, ringing in the ears, abdominal pain, severe drooling, nightmares, severe runny nose, increased heart rate, and sensory overload to both sound and light, but his mental health provider just said it would pass since he had not been on the new dose for very long.
Then less than a week later, the biggest scare of my life happened as a mother when I had difficulty waking my autistic son after he had laid down for a nap. When the ambulance arrived the EMTs were not able to wake my son, so he was transported to the Emergency Room at a nearby hospital.
After running several tests the ER doctor concluded that **my autistic son had an adverse reaction to the black box drug known as Seroquel.** The same medication his health provider assumed wasn't the problem. https://anchor.fm/thefightwithinher/episodes/EP--14-The-Dangers-of-the-Drug-Seroquel-in-Autistic-Teens-eisi73
Once the doctor was able to wake my son, we discovered he had some confusion and some memory loss as a result of the medication.
Because of the dangers, Seroquel presented to my son, his health provider chose to cut him off of the medication cold turkey. While this was what his health provider deemed as necessary, it caused several withdrawal symptoms that any parent needs to be aware of with the antipsychotic drug, Seroquel.
In the first few days of the withdrawals, he began to experience extreme sensitivity to light and blurry vision.
He started to show signs of uncontrollable twitching, repetitiveness in his speech, insomnia and began to experience severe migraine headaches daily.
After about three weeks the withdrawal symptoms began to ease, but we are still not in the clear because his mental health provider insisted on starting him out with a very high dosage, something I was unaware of at the time.
On a side note: When a child has severe or moderate autism it is often difficult to diagnose their symptoms of a side effect of a medication because they either cannot tell you or they don't recognize the exact symptoms they are having and may just guess or not even bring them up to you. Even when my autistic son began experiencing side effects from the drug, he never brought them up because to him they didn't seem severe enough.
What I have learned is that when you are working with a new medication, monitor your child closely. If they are non-verbal, but their moods or anything seems off, let their doctor know immediately. If he or she isn't willing to listen to your concerns, seek a second opinion.
The most common side effects of Seroquel:
Mood or Behavior Changes
Constipation
Abdominal Pain
Upset Stomach
Vomiting
Drowsiness
Dizziness
Light-headedness
Tiredness
Headache
Trouble Sleeping
Dry mouth
Sore throat
Weight Gain
Runny nose
Speech problems
Abnormal kidney tests
Severe Side effects include:
Allergies
Difficulty breathing
Twitching
Trouble with speech
Blurred vision
Confusion
Fast heart rate
Just a few of the withdrawal symptoms of the drug:
Sensitivity to light and sound
Severe migraines
Uncontrollable vomiting
Please use extreme caution when you or your child are introduced to a new prescription medication like Seroquel. Not every medication is a lifesaver.
