The money you earn with Slicethepie won't add up to thousands of dollars per month, but you can use the earnings to pay a bill or two. And if you are really dedicated, you may be able to earn a couple of hundred dollars per month depending on the availability of reviews.
How to Become a Slicethepie Reviewer:
The first step you will want to take to begin earning money with Slicethepie is to create an account with them. You can set up an account by visiting their main page and clicking on the signup link located on the upper right-hand corner of their page.
Keep in mind when you sign up, you will need to also Sign Up for a PayPal account (it's free) in order to get paid, and you will need to sign up with Slicethepie using the same email address you have listed for your PayPal account.
Once you have activated your account, Slicethepie requires you to answer a few questions before you can begin writing reviews. They'll want to know what fashion styles you enjoy and what your favorite music genres are.
Now that you have set up your Slicethepie account you can begin writing reviews.
Music Reviews -
Music fans may enjoy writing reviews for Slicethepie. Once you click on the review music button, you can listen to the available track for a minimum of 90 seconds in order to submit your review of the song.
When writing a review about the artist, you will want to discuss the vocals, rhythm, beat, arrangement, quality, production, composition, and so forth. After writing the review you'll rate the song on a scale of 1 to 10 and will be asked if it is worth adding to your playlist to listen to again.
Keep an open mind when writing and rating your reviews. If the song was good, but not your style of music, don't give them a bad review or rating because of it. Artists do get to see your anonymous review.
Audio Branding Reviews-
Audio Branding is very similar to listening to and reviewing music. The biggest difference is, you are reviewing intro songs to companies. You only need to listen to 13 seconds of the audio track before you can submit a review.
Once you have reviewed the track, you'll be asked to rate it 1 out of 10 and then, rate several descriptive words in the same manner for the track.
Finally, you will rate on a scale of one to ten on whether the track was memorable before submitting your final review.
As with the music reviews, try to keep an open mind when writing and rating your audio branding review. Don't give the company a bad review or rating just because you don't personally like an instrument they used. Companies do get to see your anonymous review.
Fashion Reviews -
If you are a fan of fashion, I highly recommend reviewing the clothing area of Slicethepie. Once you click on the fashion button, you will be shown several images of a clothing item and asked to write about the piece.
Be as detailed as possible with the color, design, style, and even fabric care of the article of clothing you are reviewing. You will need a minimum of 60 seconds before you can submit your final review.
Next, you will need to rate it 1 out of 10 and slide the scale to a price range that you would expect to pay for it.
Finally, as with the other reviews, keep in mind that your anonymous review will be seen by the clothing company.
Making Money with Slicethepie:
Every time you submit a review a popup box will appear showing the amount of money you have earned in those seconds and thanking you for your review.
The amount of money will vary depending on your experience and bonus pays that are sometimes offered.
On average for myself, I can make anywhere from 5 cents to 10 cents per review, which can total out to be around $4 per hour.
Again, keep in mind you could make more or less depending on your speed, quality of the review, and experience, so my pay rate is only an example! And reviews are also based on availability, so you may or may not be able to make this an hourly job.
All of the money you have earned from your reviews is added to your account balance that can be found on the upper right-hand corner of your page. Your funds are available to withdraw once you have accumulated $10 in your account.
The minimum amount may seem like a lot to accumulate, but it's rather easy if you dedicate yourself to a few hours per day you could make the minimum threshold in only a couple of days depending on the availability of reviews.
How to Become an Expert Earner with Slicethepie:
At the top of your member page, you will see 5 stars. You get a star rating that increases every time to write excellent reviews. You will need to make your reviews detailed, useful and precise if you want to earn that 5-star maximum rating. The higher your star rating is, the more money you earn per review.
In addition, you can earn money through their refer a friend link, located at the top of your Slicethepie member page. For every referral, you earn 10 percent of their earnings.
