It's not always easy building a successful blog, especially when you are new to blogging and have no idea where to even begin! But even those already blogging may be clueless when it comes to learning what steps you need to take in order to make income from your blog.
You may find yourself sifting through your favorite bloggers looking for ways to understand just how creating a blog with money earning potential works. It is always time well spent, but there is so much more to it than just sifting through your favorite bloggers' posts!
There is so much more to learn about building a profitable blog such as what works and what doesn't. So if your goal is to build a blog that will replace the job you currently hate you have come to the right place.
But don't expect to crush that goal in a matter of days or weeks. It can take months, yes months of hard work to make a decent profit from your new blog. Still, with a lot of hard work, it is possible just as long as you are ready and willing to push past that fear and take that leap of faith to become a full-time blogger.
So whether your dream is to transition to a work from home environment due to the stress of the covid crisis or you just want to live a lifestyle that allows more time with your family, now is the time to start building that blog that will give you the freedom to live your dream life!
The first thing you must understand is that if you are going to build a blog that will provide income for you and your family, you have to stop making those excuses and start setting goals! When you set goals you can make the decisions necessary to achieve the life you want. But you have to do the work that those goals require every single day or you won't be successful!
Once you have set those income goals for your blog start each day by:
Creating content for your blog is a must, especially if that is the only thing you have to make income from in the first place. The more you work on your blog, the more you improve the value of it. Spend at least 2 hours a day writing content without any distraction. Turn off all notifications, block out social media and other sites that distract you, and simply write.
If new content ideas are not coming to you, consider updating old content that may need a fresh start. If you are still having trouble with writing, try incorporating social media sites such as Instagram or YouTube as part of your blog building. As long as you are creating something of value to your readers, it is worth your time.
If you have an immediate goal of making income from your blog, then tracking your daily revenue is a must. I often use my daily planner to track all income from working from home. I also have a folder on my phone where I can keep track of all of my sources of income. Not only does keeping track of your blogging income allow you to know how much you are bringing in to pay the bills, but It's also a great way to stay motivated.
Consistent routine and SEO is a must to bring traffic to your blog and create more income. Creating content for subjects that internet users are interested in such as working from home and health can gain you more traffic than writing posts about your favorite music artist or actor. You will also want to build links for your blog. Links make a tremendous impact on your blog.
Make sure you are including popular keywords into at least half of your content. Keep it real when adding keywords or search engines like google won't support your blog or it's content.
Once you have a routine for your blog, don't forget to set monthly blogging goals. You will want to make improvements, edits, updates, and change or delete anything that is or isn't working.
Finally, remember that BLOGGING TO MAKE INCOME takes a lot of hard work and patience. Don't expect to be successful overnight. growing your blog means making it a consent daily habit just like brushing your teeth if you want great results!
