• Education is more than reading and writing. It is one of the most important investments a country can make in its people and its future and is critical to reducing poverty and inequality. The importance of education is undeniable for everyone. People may become better useful and civilized if better educated. Education plays an important role in the society as a deternined element for civilization of the society. Every child in every community should be given equal opportunity to learn and study, because the development of a country depends vastly on it.

Education is a rope that can carry us to greatness. It is one of the most important things in life because without it we cannot contribute to the world or to make ends meet.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDUCATION AND LITERACY.

Literacy means the ability to read and write while education means to acquire knowledge to enhance one's ability to reason and make sound judgement.

Every educated person is a literate but every literate is not an educated person. Literacy is a part of education. While education had a broader meaning.

The goal of literacy is to enable a person to read and write. Whole the goal of education is to make one a complete person, not only to read and write but to think comprehensively and reason scientifically.

Literacy is meant for managing day to day affairs. While education is for improving the quality of one's life.

Education is not the same as literacy. Discuss

Literacy is basically the ability to read and write, at least in one languague. Literacy empowers you to be on the same pedestal as the society in which you live. Being literate is just an ability for anyone. Education is more of a process than ability. It's a loop which involves to observe, learn, understand, apply and observe again.

Literacy is only a part of education. Literate people are not necessarily educated. Literacy is formal education. For being educated , it is not required to be literate.

Literacy is not the only way to be educated. Suppose you want to be a great fisherman. You can't just read about the different types of fish, you have to go and catch some. You have to know when and where to fish. Suppose you want to be an amazing cook. You have to burn your fingers, burn the food and a few utensils and every details about the ingredients. Literacy and education are not the same, the difference between them is night like the difference between a tool and a process. Literacy will give you the ability to read a book. Education is when you, at least, understand what the author is trying to convey in written form or orally.
