Chapter One:The Red Door

It's the first time I experienced it so I didn't expect that it would be this worst ,Slowly, Slowly, the red Door opened and then.....

I am Liza.I lived with my father named Eddie and little sister named Chloe in our newly bought house in the cheapest price.We're originally from the East City but life there was rough so we decided to move in somewhere more comfortable and so here it is,our new home.

It's old and dusty but no problem with that because cleaning was my specialty.

My mom died since I was in grade school so it's been tough for my father to be a single parent for his two daughter. So after we moved in, my father decided to find a new job in this town and occasionally, he got his new job, a store keeper in a convenient store not too far from here so there's no problem... for now.I'll take care of the home stuff with my little sister and then he work.That's fine with me.

A few days later, My father been assigned overtime so he will be coming home late this time and then me and my little sister slept in the same bed that night.

"hmmm ..Strange....What is it, A door...It's a red door but what is that noise, hmmm... It's coming from the door....a girl screaming...hhhhmm... that voice... that voice sounds familiar... OH it's Chloe!!!..." so I ran as fast as I can to reach the door... I'm so nervous and so shocked in that very moment as I hear my little sister scream and cried that must be something was happening to her and begging for help. I ran as fast as I could,as I reach the Door I woked up.It was only a dream. I saw Chloe's crying,she seems having a nightmare too so I woke her up. I asked her why is she crying. She said " The old woman, she was going to get me.... Uhhhh.... "she cried. " Who's woman" I asked her. "The old woman with a bad face" she answered. I advice her that she was only having a nightmare so I comfort her soon she came back to sleep. After that I wait for my father to came home that night,I talked about my dream and chloe's dream but he only said" that was just a nightmare so don't think about it and move on, I am already here so there's nothing to worry." sooner I took my sleep and luckily I woke up early in the morning. My father said that he's going to have a overtime work again this evening so it's fine but I advice him to not to overworked since I get a little worried. So he go on again, off to work.

I met Steve one of our neighbors and soon enough we've got a long conversation. He said he was been in this town since birth and his parents working far in the west city so he was always home alone with his dog named Charlie. He also said that sometimes in the middle of the night Charlie suddenly got out and barked in the front of our house but suddenly he run off and get inside in there house seems afraid of someone or something. But that doesn't bother him because he thought it was just some wild animals that pass by in the front of the house. As I tell him my story about my little sister's and my nightmare and after that he seems silenced and think about something . He said he remembered something about the owner of the house. It was an old woman that's been alone for many years living in that house and died without any relatives visit in her burial. But it's been years empty house since then,we arrived. After a long conversation we hear Chloe's screaming, we run into our house and see Chloe's starring into something. She finds access to the basement of the house. It was dark inside so Steve and I checked out the new find. As we walked down to the stairs we found out that there's a lot of antique things inside and another door, it was the red door in my dream. I gently walked close the door, and opened it. It was nothing but bricks. Steve said it must be closed down when the owner renovate the house so nothing to worry. After that I asked Steve to have a cup of coffee and after a long conversation he came back to his home.

That night I and Chloe go into bed and I sleep besides her.

"Oh it's the door but why Chloe's in front of the door" Cricking as Slowly and Slowly it opens,a creepy hand shows coming from the door.

It's an old womans hands, then suddenly it grabs Chloe and she screamed.

I ran into the door to help Chloe and then the door closed. I tried to open it but it's locked. I hear Chloe's crying for help but I can't do anything. Suddenly I woked up and full with tears. I woke Chloe because she's having a nightmare too but she's not waking up. I tried everything to woke her but she's not opening her eyes. I called for help and Steve quickly come. We tried everything we could to wake her up but until then she's not. So we call my father and an ambulance to get her in the hospital.The doctor doesn't believe that Chloe's having a coma without any reason. How does that happened?! my father cried. "I don't know, all I know was the nightmare about the old woman and suddenly grabbed her," I answered. My father's does not believe my story. He's asking for other reason why does Chloe got comatose. I cried and cried and Steve talk to me. He advice someone named Lucy a woman who does curing cases such as Chloe. Steve took me to her.

The woman have already know the case that I was going to consult to her,and she said that there is an evil spirit possessed the house that took Chloe's spirit in that red door. She also said that there's just one way to save Chloe in the evil spirit someone must go inside that door and get chloe back and that was me.

So we get back home and show the red door to Lucy then she said we must find the through the door and that was the very old thing of the real owner of this house and we took a necklace with a picture inside the old woman was there and there is a little child which is same old as Chloe in the other side, it must be her daughter. And then Lucy forced me to sleep in front of the door, she started a ritual. I never felt so scared in my whole life although I think about the little girl on the other side of the old womans picture ,All I have to think is to get Chloe back.

As I started my horrible dream, I'm going to open the door, I put the necklace on a key hole and it fits in there.I slowly turned the knob and opened the door, I have to stay brave. As I open the door fully a strong wind from inside it pushes me away a little,then I feel an earthquake-like on the ground seems like the inside doesn't want to be disturbed. Then I forced myself into the door. It has a red light inside coming from a red bulb and slowly walking step by step I suddenly see a woman wearing all black and then I saw Chloe holding her hands forcefully, As I look in the womans face, I've seen her terrifying looked in her eyes but full of tears. Chloe suddenly talk to me" Help her, She's been lonely here since she died but no one did visits her, She said she only wants her daughter.At first she thought I was her daughter,but she said it was her mistake and she only wants to finds her real daughter and say to her to visit her because she's been waiting for a long time ago.The only thing that she's keeping me here was to talk to you so that you could help her" Chloe explained. "Help me find my daughter help me" The woman cried. My terrified feelings turns into sadness for the woman. I said to her that I could take Chloe back I promised her that I will try my best to find her daughter and let her know about her. The red light suddenly become white and the old womaan smiled. She let go of Chloe's hand and I hug Chloe back then everything turns white and I woke up. Without any words comes from mouth I cried while steve drive me to hospital. Chloe's already open her eyes, and soon we get back home.

Me,Steve And my father look some clue about the old woman's daughter . After a month ago we found out that her Daughter was named Alicia, She lives in the East City not far from where we came from, a small world right. I and steve visit her and talked about her mother and she cried, she didn't notice about her mother's situation because of poverty. So we took her along the way home and let her visit the red door, she said the red door connects a room where she always hide when she's playing with her mom and a lot of good memories inside there but because she already grown up she bricked it up, never to think that it was full of treasured memories along with her mom. Then after that night, I dream about that woman, but not in a horrifying face full of tears but in a sweet face full of smile saying" Thank You".
