Deception
5/3/22
Every smile is not happy for you. Every handshake is not friendship. Every mistake is not fatal. Every messed up person is not an enemy.
Know the difference.
Deception is a way of life. It is the illusion of right, the tension of wrong, the belief in the unseen, the misunderstood and the unknown. Deception is the belief that you know what's happening in a situation when you really don't.
Deception isn't always intentional, in fact most of the time it isn't. Most often a deception is made possible because someone was too tired to think things through properly, or they were just plain wrong. We're human? We make mistakes. Right? You don't have to agree with me.
Deception is found within us all, and we have to find it within ourselves to be able to recognize when someone else is deceiving us? Deception is the first step to understanding the truth and finding answers for our questions.
The world is a mess.
People say nothing is real and it shouldn’t be yours. People say nothing is true and it shouldn’t be your own. People say nothing is good and it shouldn’t be something you search for. People say everything is bad and you probably are one of them. There is nothing wrong with you but be cautious of the thoughts that aren’t yours.
When someone offers you their hand shake, look them in their eyes and decide if it’s a friendship or a fatal mistake. We want to live but we want to live on our terms. We want to laugh but we don’t want to make you uncomfortable. We want to be happy but we want to be honest.
We are all wrecks. Every misstep isn't fatal and every mess up isnt intentional, but for some reason we treat them as if they are. We have a tendency to treat the people we love most like our biggest enemies, when in reality they are the ones who can save us.
Every smile isn't happy for you, every handshake isn't friendship and every mistake isn't fatal. Do you know the difference.
I know what I've seen, I know what I've heard, I know what I've felt. But I don't know why it's still happening and I don't know what's real.
But it's easier to lie because you'll never hear the truth from everybody you meet. Everybody's out for themselves anyway so what do they care?
And how can we fix ourselves if we can't see whats true? How can we fix ourselves if we can't trust each other? How can we fix this when nobody cares?
Nobody cares
We're all messed up in our own way and that's ok I'll give you that but it's not ok to make this world a worse place, just because your mind is twisted.
I'm a bit confused about it though. But, who exactly is responsible? Can we be deceptive to ourselves?
