A Rich Christmas

Christmas is brewing in the air and we are all eagerly waiting to spend quality time with our loved ones. This season also provides an opportunity to give back to the less privileged.

A spoilt and ungrateful socialite learns a valuable lesson last year's Christmas after her mega-rich father forces her to work at the first property he ever owned.

Her father, who was once a poor boy who made good in the real estate world, forces his daughter to help out at his first property – a run-down motel!

When Grace Coker’s father dies on vacation, she unexpectedly inherits a fortune, but she is shocked to discover that it comes with a catch – she must work on his first ever property – an old motel he bought when he was starting out, which gave him the kick-start in his career.

The only problem? It’s located in the small town of Agbowo, Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria… and Grace has never even been there before, all her life she lived in the Federal capital territory Abuja.

A small, simple area in Ibadan, Nigeria, is the unlikely location for a Christmas tale of love and understanding.

It’s a tale about a 25-year-old ‘spoilt princess’ Grace.

Grace’s father is wealthy beyond imagination, but she has turned her back on his money, choosing to live her life independently and as frugally as possible, refusing to touch even a cent of her father's wealth.

She told her father she would never go back to his world and that he can keep his money – she was going to live the best life possible on her own.

Pained by her father's decision, to not give her the property until she returns to Nigeria and discovers that there is even more to be upset about: not only did she have to manage the motel, she needs to get married as well.

Grace started working in the motel the following week after her father's burial.

She has never been forced to work for anything in her life. Her greatest fear is being broke and being a nobody.

After two weeks of working, Grace fell in love with her neighbours grandson. George was Mrs Damsel's grandson and was spoilt by his mom, sometimes he got angry because of this and went to stay with his grandma.

George was in his grandma's place because he just lost his parents as well and realised that he has to get married before getting his inheritance from his parents.

While he was at his grandmothers house he met a young lady, who lived next door, they both liked each other.

They liked each other because after they talked they learnt they were orphans and that both their parents had died. And most importantly they had a common goal, which is to get married and inherit their dead parents properties.

Christmas is the season of miracles and magic.
