Sacrificial Giving!

7 33

Before anything else to start this another write-up to be shared, I just want to flex my blessings from the very start of my journey. They are the ones who never leave me despite my inactivity most of the time due to my baby. I am blessed that they understand me. They still extend their warmest support for me.

Thank you so much, my dear sponsors. You never fail me. You can check out their works as well. They are such a great writer. You will never regret it if you visit them. 😊

Let us start with my content.

Foremost, I just want to explain first of what is the meaning of the word sacrificial if you found it confusing. Hehehe okay. From the word sacrificial, the root word is sacrifice. Right? So, it means that anything sacrificial has to do with a sacrifice. It is just like when you are traveling around the city or somewhere then you see an old woman standing in front of you because there's no other vacant seat and then you give up your seat for her. That is a sacrificial act.

In other words, a sacrifice is something given up for the sake of others, so anything sacrificial is connected to that selfless act. We can do it multiple times towards each other. We can still make it. We can make a life change into what she deserves or what she needs in a way of giving. There is a quotation that says "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Hence, just by giving we make life. We make a difference. Therefore, I conclude that there is power in giving. There are changes in giving. There is life in giving.

Just like what God did to us. What He has done just for us. If you didn't know what God did for you and me. Here's the overview.

The scriptures say in John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.-

God loves us so dearly. He came to the point that He did a sacrificial giving for us to be saved from wickedness. He gave up His only Son ( Jesus Christ) for us to have life. For us to be able to live life the way it should be. The way He designs it for us. The way He wanted. He never doubted to do it because of love. He never regrets that He did that. He sacrificed the pain. He did it without murmuring. He did it with His own will. He is the exact illustration of the phrase sacrificial giving.

However, in life, giving is just a piece of cake. It is easier. It is common especially that the Christmas season is fast approaching. For sure giving is everywhere. With that, it is good to give and yes, it is better to give than to receive.😁 But we should put in mind that " we can give without love but we can't love without giving." So, there are instances that we can easily give without love. It is not from the heart. Some people also that they just give because they are expecting something in return. And that is not a good act. If you give, just give. Without expecting something because if you expect to, you will just end up hurting yourself and it really hurts. You know. 😅

Thus, when we said sacrificial giving, it is an act of something you sacrifice what you have through giving up so that someone will have something that comes from you. You give wholeheartedly. Without talking bad at all. When you give, just give. And when you do that, our God in heaven will reward you abundantly. 😇

Author's Note:

These are all from my ideas and thoughts. I hope and pray that you learn something from this in which sacrificial giving is somewhat hard to do because you have to sacrifice something that you have. It is done through having a big heart for the people. And I think, rare people nowadays are doing like that. Even me, I can't do it. What I can do is to give without any words and I can give without expecting something in return. But when we say sacrificial giving, it is difficult to do so. That is why God is the perfect representation of this act. Thus, He deserves all the Thanksgiving. He deserves to be lifted higher. Above all these, He is God.👆

That would be all. Thank you for reading and dropping by. God bless you. Shalom!

Sacrificial giving is a scriptural principle put in place by God Himself. God practised it Himself as an example to believers. He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, so He could bring the whole world to Himself. This sacrifice cost Him something. He did it out of love for the world

Sacrifice is a big deal. There is peace in it. But not everyone can afford it. But yes your article is going to say a lot. Well said.

In giving, you can find fulfilment for yourself. Especially when you see that what you give can benefit much to the person.

As always girly. I love how you share your thoughts. Mura napud ko'g naminaw ug wale sa simbahan bisan wala na koy simba-simba.hihi

Giving is definitely a good thing to do always and must be done wholeheartedly. I once read an article that says, "the best form of giving is by doing good things to people that won't be able to pay back.
