House blessing and birthday celebration

dayIt was on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, that the celebration happened. And it was all regarding my mother. First, it was her 72nd birthday. Yes, she is already 72 years living on this earth. She might be old age but when you look at her, she seems that she is just 50 years old. Lol. many people say that my "Nanay" is not that obvious and that she is already old enough to do everything that she wants. But how we can stop her if she resists doing what she likes to do. She is a kind of a mother that not like to just sit only for the entire day and has nothing to do, instead she is a kind of a person that always has something to do to make her day a productive one. She likes to do household chores such as cleaning every angle of the house. Lol. Or sometimes doing on the farm planting different kinds of veggies.

Well, she always told us that at her young age way back when she was still a teenager and she was still under her parents, she said that she was the most industrious child of her parents because she was the one who was exposed to farming or painting different kinds of foods on their land. Her father taught her how to do planting on the farm that's why when she was married and had a family, we can't stop her from doing the planting because it is already her life since then she was young. So, we as her children just support her likes and hobbies as long as she is happy and at the same time safe. We are also happy to see her happy with what she does and most of all when it is already harvest time, all of us eat the food that our mother planted. At the end of the day, we, as her children have all the benefits that our mother works on.

Therefore on her 72nd birthday, we did our best to make it memorable. We, her children, exert so much effort to make her birthday a successful one. We even finance all the food and expenses just to make it realized and she didn't give anything, we all shouldered everything. Of course, as her children, it is our way of giving back for what she does for us. In fact, it is not still enough but we still did our best to make her happy and satisfied. As we celebrated her birthday, we saw in her eyes that she is extremely happy receiving all our surprises for her.

We also surprise her with our eldest sister coming home on her birthday because this sister of ours is very busy with her work in Luzon and with her family too. She seldom stays with us, especially with Nanay. They rare to meet each other personally that is why we surprise our mother. She was happy that her eldest child is with her on her birthday. She was about to cry when she saw her eldest child with us.

Our wishes for her are good health always, long life, and protection anywhere and whatsoever she does. That would be our utmost prayer for her.

Second, we blessed her new home, her new house. As I shared here in my article that my mother has an ultimate dream which is to have her own house. And finally, it is finished. Not as in finished everything but it is enough to stay in there. She is glad that her new house is finally done and that she can now do whatever she wanted to do because it is her house. She is so thankful to God for granting her prayer and dream and also she is thankful to us for making it possible especially to my sister who financed everything to make her house achieve.

Thus, we are beyond blessed, pleased, and thankful to God for the celebration went so well according to plan. Not that too fabulous but we know that we did our best for our mother. We did everything for love and that would matter the most. The celebration ended happily full of smiles on our faces. It became another memory to reminisce once again. 🤗
