Hello, everyone. This is the continuation of the story regarding my husband's journey from his job. Just bear with me. Hoping you still appreciate whatever the journey happened this time. Let us start.
Hello, my blessings. Thank you for supporting me until this time. God bless you all, beautiful souls. Lovelovelove...
In the year 2018, my boyfriend and I decided to tie the knot. This year happened the proposal. At that time I was the prettiest woman in the universe. lol. I can't hide the happiness and joy I felt during that time. It all happened inside the Robinson Mall. hahaha (I will share with you these coming days what happened on our engagement day) December 2019 our church wedding happened. We were both happy because finally we were united as one as husband and wife. We were enjoying the moment like visiting other places, we dated to some known restaurants in our City, and hanging out with friends. It was all went very well. It was still a normal day for all of us. Until such time, the year 2020 came with an unexpected scenario happened. At first, we embrace the new year with great joy and unending thanksgiving to God. We were beyond grateful because God gave us another year to enjoy life.
My husband that time in his work was still in progress. Everything was still on the right track such as the daily collections of money were still increasing. Still rising. Their main office was found in Davao City still monitored them. Still in good provision where they were still supplied and provided everything their branch needed. Their communication was still open and their reports were still updated on time.
March 2020 when COVID-19 hit all over the Philippines. The pandemic started to boom to everyone. Many companies have been temporarily closed due to the protocol from the government. Establishments all over the nation were forcedly closed and we had no choice but to accept because that was ordered by our President Duterte. The purpose why it was ordered was because the virus was slowly affected a group of people. Some were already had suffered from the virus and some were already dead. It was indeed an unexpected situation that many people had a hard time adjusting especially those people who were discharged from their job. Many employees became miserable, became sad about the happenings. hay. such a sad truth.
Moreover, in just a blink of an eye, it went differently. It went not good. My husband has to follow the government's protocol which is to shut down their branch as ordered also from their main office. The sad reality also was that they had no salary to receive at that time the reason was that they had no collectibles to remit, as they said. A very disappointing situation from their head office. I can't help but accept it. My husband had to accept the order from their company and just find ways here in our place as a term to survive. I don't know but for me, it was unfair. My husband and his people under him had done so well. They did their job responsibly but in the end, they were the ones who had no reward to have after all. Such a very disgusting feeling.
It took two months before they finally back to their work. It was June 2020 when they went head back to their job. At first, they had a difficult time starting a new one because the virus is still seeking another victim. My husband and his fellow workers had to adjust also especially inside their office where they need to put a sanitation area because it was also a protocol. They had to distance themselves from each other and wear facemasks now and then. When it comes also to their job and their duty, they had to adjust as well because their customers were slowly fading or shall I say slowly had no money to pay their loans. Their customers as well facing hardships and have been affected due to the virus. Their little way of source of income was casually decreasing until one day they had to stop paying their loans due to no income after all. Their customer says apology of what had happened.
My husband had to accept the sad truth because he understands the situation. He cannot force their customers to pay their loans because they have also been affected. Well, all of us have been affected. No one was excused. Everyone was being affected, everyone suffered.
The year 2020 ended still with thanksgiving because they survived. Their company still supplied the needs for their family. And me that year was pregnant. It was June also when we found out that I was pregnant. So, my husband had to do his job double time or do his job so hard so that we can save money for the coming of our baby's arrival. Thanks to God because we were were able to have financial aspects during my pregnancy and able to pay bills.
We welcomed the year 2021 filled with a joyful heart knowing the fact that my husband's job is still on track. Still in progress. Not to the extent but still able to sustain our daily needs. Ber months came this year, the unexpected news we heard. We became weak and sad at the same time. Worries are everywhere. Doubts and scared exist.
The next happenings will be continued the next day. I hope that you will stay willing to wait. Part 3 will be full of tears, hope, joy, and blessing.
