Not going to waste your time writing on how you should love with all your heart because love is this and love is that....blah blah blah.

Relationship is more than just loving.

Where I'm from and in my indigenous culture, our forefathers and those before them had nothing like feelings when they found their partners, how you may ask, this was why... During that time, people came together for so many reasons and emotional feelings was the least of them (if at all it was on the list).

Men looked out for fit women who could bear strong children, support them in their duties and be by their side as an all-rounder and women looked out for men who could, provide, protect and cater for the family. Nobody was thinking of love.🤔 Nobody was concerned with the feelings", and I must say that even though love wasn't present or sufficient, those ( unions) /relationship strived but in truth, it was a strained relationship.

Love is only but a thin icing...

I keep telling anyone that is willing to listen that relationships are more than what we envision them to be. For a relationship to excel and flourish, both partners need to realize that love is a booster but it won't always be there. There are sometimes that you don't know what you feel for the next person because that flutter in your belly seem to have slipped away, without your notice.

Love is just a thin icing on that huge cake! We all know what icing represents on a cake. Icings is used to decorate, beautiful, and make impressions and expressions on the cake, the more beautiful the icing looks the more attracting it'll be.

But what happens when the icing melts away...

This is where commitment comes in. Yes love is beautiful ❤️, exhilarating and all but the truth is, it may never always be there. For some it lasts longer but for others, that's not the case.

So what do you do? Do you leave your partner when you're no longer excited or when his or her joke's no longer funny enough to make you laugh 😂. No You don't leave.

Learn to build love and commitment. Let the two grow together and support each other.😊

You stay committed to that person because staying with someone is a choice. A choice we all make at one point in time.

There are thousands of more better people, but always remember that one reason (s), that made you fall in love 💕 from the start.

Remember to always stay safe, love💕 like there's no tomorrow and live each day with renewed vigor and strength.

Because we never know...
