Of all unnecessary things and materials in this world, it's almost absurd to think some of these could be our very own body parts. I mean which part of your body would you not need? I'm going to review every organ body parts and body system that is not necessary in any way, without further ado let's begin.
Appendix:
The appendix is one of the most popular useless organs we all know about. But is it really useless, the appendix is very famous for collecting trash all through an human life, that's right all the stones, and indigestible food(seeds) you've consumed are gathered up in the appendix. The appendix in it's prime days served has an extra digestive tract to digest raw food, but since humans discovered fire and cooking was invented there was no need for this organ and due to depression consumed it self to become the small fella that regular stores up infection and disease. You read that right your appendix would cause a disease called appendicitis, which is caused by the swelling of the appendix due to infection and yes of course when it's full. Although humanity discarded this organ, it's still very active in most animals.
Pinky toe:
Personally I really love my toe. Always pictured it has a little princess that needs lots of day care. But still it's among those useless body parts you never really need or use. But it's on my feet I hear you say, well yes, but we do not actually use this toe to walk, it's almost like a decoration so that we wouldn't look weird. Back in the days when our ancestors were climbers ( mountains, rocks and trees) like the monkeys our toes were actually longer and more muscular, we were probably able to control the muscles on our feet. With this we could probably finish a tour de France 10 times over without our legs feeling tired, joking, but seriously though our feet could have probably sprinted 100Γ faster than the average modern man. Soon man kind stopped being stupid and started going for the easy way outs to things and with time the once most used body part became retarded.
nictitating membranes:
Have you ever watched a documentary and it seems some whitish or blurry substance envelopes their eye well this substance is called a nictitating membrane. It's actually pretty frightening to watch birds eye go from blind white to normal, it gives you a sense of how upgraded humans are by unconsciously closing our eye lid instead of going partially zombie mode. Make no mistake not only birds have this dogs do and cats, let's just say almost all regular pets do, but it's not very prominent in them( they blink) compared to the birds that fly at break-neck speeds in the air. Ours has compressed it self after years of no use, I guess it is called plica semilunaris.
Human hair:
Has crazy as it may seem, that black, brown, blond hair you love and cherish so much and spend a lot on it. You don't actually need it. The main purpose of the human hair to for insulation and temperature regulation aside that nothing else, of course unless you're repunzel then you can use your hair has a bridge. Any way it may seem humans don't actually have enough hair to serve our temperature regulation need. If I feel cold like every normal human I tuck into my jacket, sweater, or blanket. Although no denial that a very little amount of hair is needed. And our hair is a sign of maturity and well growth.
Gall bladder:
The gallbladder is located under the liver on the upper right side of the abdomen, just below the ribs. It stores the bile. The Bile is kind of a chemical substance created by the breaking down of red blood cells in the liver. It aids digestion of some good stuffs, so when not in use the gall bladder pockets it. When the intestines notice fats, the gallbladder contracts, forcing bile into the intestines to aid the digestion of fat. But, excess cholesterol in bile can form gallstones, which can block the tiny canals that move the bile. When this happens, people may need their gallbladder removed surgically.
I read you article. So much informative about our body parts. But I am little unhappy with my hair because it is curly. πͺπͺ
