Determination and Perseverance

Genius cannot; genius is not valued is almost a proverb. Neither will education." you can; the world is already full of abandoned educated people. Perseverance and determination are omnipotent for success. -Calvin Coolidge
When I read Calvin Coolidge's writings. I pondered whether what he said was true. What persistence and determination determine success more than talent, genius, and education.
As we know that John Calvin Coolidge, Jr., was the 30th President of the United States of America. His name was well known throughout the United States for his valiant efforts to oppose the Boston police strike and the creation of the then City Police Labor Union.
Not only his perseverance but his determination to maintain the old moral and economic norms, in the midst of the prosperity experienced by the American people. As well as rigorously running austerity in government. Made Calvin Coolidge one of the most successful and popular presidents.
Now I understand why Calvin Coolidge wrote that persistence and determination are so important to success. It was all born from his personal experience. Which is beyond doubt.
Then I relate to other events. Suppose there is someone who has a talent for singing. However, she has never practiced her vocals and does not want to enter any other competitions or competitions. Whether that talent will develop and make it successful and famous.
Or someone who is a genius. For example, B.J Habibie when in his own country his genius was not appreciated. Then he couldn't develop his genius. But, when he perseveres and his determination is strong in another country that is more appreciative. So he was successful in the country.
Currently, many graduates of S1, S2, and S3 are unemployed. Maybe it's true that this world has a lot of educated people who are neglected. This is no longer the time to look for a job to be successful. But, how can you create a job with the knowledge you have to achieve success.
The point is not unimportant talent, genius, and education. All that matters. But, what is more important is how we always persevere and don't give up easily when we fail. We must have a strong determination to continue to achieve success.
