The 46th Copa America Cup was postponed due to coronavirus.
The event was scheduled to take place in Argentina and Colombia last June-July.
This time the good news came for the football fans. The 47th edition of the Copa America is set to begin on June 11 next year, according to Conmebol, the Latin American governing body for football.
They have published the final schedule of the event. For the first time in the history of the Copa America, the host country of this year's event - Argentina and Colombia. There will be 36 matches of the tournament at 5 venues in Argentina and 4 in Colombia. Argentina will play 16 matches and Colombia will play the remaining 20 matches.
Argentina will play two matches in the quarter-finals and one match in the semi-finals.
On the other hand, the remaining two matches of the quarter finals, one of the semis, the third place match and the final match will be held in Colombia.
The tournament will end in the South and North Zones throughout the month.
The South Zone includes Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Australia.
The North Zone includes Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Qatar, Venezuela and Peru.
Chile will face host Argentina in the opening match. Uruguay and Australia will face two more matches in the same group on the same day and Paraguay and Bolivia.
Lionel Messi's team will play against Uruguay on June 15, Paraguay on June 19, Australia on June 22 and Bolivia on June 26.
Current Copa America champions Brazil will play their first match on June 13 against Venezuela. After that, Neymar's team will play against Peru on June 17, Qatar on June 21, Colombia on June 24 and Ecuador on June 26.
