Modern research says that there are some foods that release melatonin and cortisol hormones in the body. The result is a good night's sleep.

Experts say that before going to sleep, you should eat low calorie and easily digestible food. It is better to eat less sugar. A light mixture of meat and a little sugar, if the quality of food is 150 to 200 calories, sleep is better. Oily, fatty or fried foods should be excluded from the diet.

According to experts, the foods you need to eat to sleep well-

Milk: The amino acid tryptophan present in hot milk is helpful for good sleep.

Eggs: Eggs contain vitamin D, which affects sleep. Vitamin D in the egg works in the part of the brain that helps neurons sleep. People who are deficient in vitamin D do not fall asleep easily.

Sweet potato: Sweet potato is called 'sleeping aunt'. The potassium present in it helps in sleep.

Bananas: Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium. These ingredients help to sleep better.

Honey: Honey makes serotonin and melatonin. Regular consumption of honey is good sleep. One tablespoon of honey can be eaten daily before going to bed.

Lettuce: The lactucarium present in lettuce leaves helps in better sleep. These leaves can be boiled in hot water or eaten as a salad.

Walnuts: Walnuts also contain tryptophan. It helps make serotonin and melatonin.

Almonds: Magnesium and tryptophan present in almonds calm the nerves and muscles. Sleep will be better if the nerves and muscles are calm.

In addition, vegetable soup, apples, nuts, raisins and other healthy foods should be eaten regularly. If you are accustomed to a healthy diet with regular exercise and keep yourself away from mental fatigue, you are bound to get a good night's sleep.
