As soon as we hear about diet, we think of eating a little according to the rules. And sweating is a physical exercise. However, what we eat is not limited to diet. What we hear, what we see or read, who we hang out with, what we argue and talk about in friends chats, who we follow on social media, all are the part of the diet. Because, the influence of the people around us is a huge part of the world of our thinking. And this diet involved in thinking is called mental diet.

So diet does not just depend on food. And once you understand this, you are forced to change the definition of diet! In a busy life, we often do not have time to look at ourselves. We always get rid of worries and anxieties. The pressure of work is to forget your own feelings. For us, physical well-being is as important as mental well-being. And gradually the anxiety, depression, mistrust and self-doubt tend to grow.

We all know that the body can be kept healthy by changing the diet and exercising. However, experts say, just like the body, the mind needs to be kept in check to keep the mind healthy. The main thing here is to keep the mind calm by removing negative thoughts and worries. Mental diet is all that is done to cultivate positivity in the mind and brain, to produce creativity. Mental diet is the way to achieve everything you need for mental health.

Here are some ways to keep yourself mentally healthy

1. What we think, most of the time, is influenced by the people around us, the discussions, what we read, what we see. When thinking, notice what you are thinking. Ask yourself, is what you are thinking a beneficial thought for you? If that thought doesn't work, skip it. 'We control our thoughts', accept it. Maybe you are wondering, can thoughts be controlled? Even if you don't want to think, thoughts come and go. But if you are careful about what is going on in your mind, then you can pull the reins of worry. Sometimes when you think, write down your thoughts. If you read them in a lazy afternoon, you will be surprised!

2. There is no substitute for having a good mind to control the mind. If the mind is good, all work seems to be joy. So keep a good mind so choose any hobby of your choice. Watching movies, reading books, drawing pictures, listening to music, wandering around, you can get lost in another world, even if only for a short time. Talking to people near or far often leads to 'emotional relief' very easily. You can come back from a new place, a new environment. In this, a lot of mental fatigue disappears. There is an opportunity to think about yourself, an opportunity to see life in a new perspective.

3. Can't get rid of headaches in any way? A fun game you can play with yourself. Refrain from thinking about the thoughts that are making you sad or unhappy. Think of something positive instead. Responsibility to subdue the mind. But not impossible. If you try, you will be fine. The worse your mind wants to think, the more you can transform it into a positive, creative thought. Or keep yourself busy with some educational work at that time. At first the task will not be easy at all. However, do not accept the rate and continue this practice. Gradually become proficient in controlling your own thoughts.

4. There is no substitute for positive thinking to keep the mind healthy. But even if we want hateful or hateful news to float on the television or social media screens, we can't help but watch. In this case, the use of social media can reduce the return of peace of mind. This will largely free you from the effects of negative news. Putting anger, violence or hatred towards others also puts pressure on our minds. Be forgiving in these cases.

5. One of the ways to focus on a mental diet is to focus. Imagine for a second you were transposed into the karmic driven world of Earl. Sitting in a chair, stroking Facebook-Instagram with a mobile phone in hand, drinking water, walking, and even cooking, we feel subconscious. Paying attention means staying in the present. The work you are doing is done with concentration. And in this way you will be able to control the unwanted thoughts that have gone unnoticed by the mind. You can also do meditation or yoga to increase concentration. Practice listening to others with your mind.

Mental diet is like a strainer of thoughts! It looks at your thoughts and decides which thoughts will prevail. And at the end of the day, the thought that you choose, that you should move forward. So there is no alternative to 'mental diet' for a healthy and beautiful mind.

Wow. You have a very valid point. I've never thought about this. So, the thought of the mind can be placed on a diet. That's very good to know. Thanks for telling us this. I'll make sure I give it a trial. Thank you so much
