No Certainty
Hello friends, hope you had a great weekend. I don't understand how quickly the weekend comes and go, it's almost like there's just one day in the weekend. Yesterday hardly felt like Monday for me, cos I was just at home doing nothing, but somehow i still felt extremely tired by the end of the day. Quite a number of things happened to me yesterday that I'd draw lessons from like I always do.
So, I occasionally delve into sports betting for various reasons, mostly out of fun actually. If you've ever gotten involved in sport betting, you would understand that there are clear distinction between events, but they can all be categorized into groups. There's the group of events where the possible outcomes are quite clear and easily predicted. These kinds are events usually have low odds and low rewards margins as a result of the clarity of possible outcomes. There's the second group of events where the margin for reward is high because the possible outcome is relatively less predictable. While I'm quite a carefree investor, I'm quite careful when it comes to sport betting. Being a careful pundit, as i like to think, I tend to go for games with relatively clear possible outcomes.
These kinds of games tend to involve the heavyweights of European football. Having said that, it's only natural that I would pick a team like Manchester city for the win. If you're going to play low risk, low yield games, you're going to have to either compound your bet or play multiple bet option for it to amount to something worth the trouble. Having picked the multiple option, the most assured game from my perspective was the Crystal Palace vs Manchester City game, so you can only imagine my surprise when I raised they were the only team that didn't come through for me out of fourteen events that i selected. It was both heartbreaking and disappointing, but I tried to find the silver lining in it, by picking out a few lessons from the experience.
Never Put Your Trust In Man
This is something I've always known, even though I let myself forget occasionally. Yesterday's experience was a stark reminder once again, that man is not completely in control of his life or the situation surrounding him and that means there's always room for unforeseen events that might or might not hamper his ability to fulfill his promise or reward one's trust in him. This is why you shouldn't put your trust completely in man, like I did in Manchester city and got burned.
Uncertainty Is A Part Of The Process
The chief reason while most pundits usually go for low risk events is to ensure certainty of the predicted outcome. The irony of it is that every pundit knows that you can never attain anything of that sort, but still that's what we strive for. Eventually, the most experienced and most rewarded profit are those whom have learnt and 'accepted' that uncertainty is part of the process. This also applies to life in general. We always strive to control the situations, to control tings that aren't within our abilities to control. This is one of the reasons some people get frustrated. No matter what you do or whatever plan you've got, know that uncertainty is part of life and things might not work out smoothly.
Thanks for your time.....
Uncertainties of life is a means of discipline to us. We could from past like that make the present pretty
