Holidays are going on and we all are enjoying this refreshing time of holidays. It's a break from all hectic activities of life. Because, at the end of the day we all are humans and not machines.So, we need rest and recharge. These holidays are a kind of source of leisure and to get recharge for speedy life.
Our today's discussion is about those holidays traditions which are odd or may be off. I was doing brainstorming from last night. And now, finally came to some points on which i shed light in this post.
Sleeping Like Cats
It's bit funny yet strange activity which i observed during holidays and also on festive season( On Eid) that everyone is inclined to sleep.
Everyone includes *sleep* in his schedule. No matter what is happening around but people will sleep in middle of the day( that sleep is called as taking 😴 nap). But, after this nap laziness always remain in the eyes 👀 of people.
Let me talk about my homies, they sleep right after having feast on special days. In the beginning, it looks strange to me that why everyone is sleeping even on such special day of Eid and why they aren't celebrating this day or why they aren't jumping with excitement? These type of questions always remain in my mind.
In start, i was not used to sleeping at all on special occasion. You can say that excitement always gives me jolts to remain awake. But, as time passes i adopted this habit and now i am also in the team of people who sleep on special days.
But, it's okay to take deep and heavy 💤 sleep on holidays & on special occasions.
Firecrackers
In celebrations, people go crazy and they express their happiness with firecrackers. On special occasions like new year and Shab-e-baraat these type of activities are observed. I feel bad that why people do this. Actually firecrackers and fireworks 🎆 are harmful to our planet.
There is no doubt in it that i also like these firecrackers and fireworks but at the end of the day we should think about our planet and our environment. Yesterday, when i went out to have walk, i saw plastic everywhere. This is really bad. We all should stand together and we should play part in cleaning environment.
High Prices
During holidays and in festive season, it is common that marketers hike up prices of everything. It looks like they are causing inflation by themselves. Everyone wants to get profit in these days.
In the month of Ramadan, when we get holidays of one complete month, then it is observed that market's price hikes to mountains. It's become difficult for middle class & low class people to survive in this situation.
This system of taking high margin during holidays is not good and this system needs to be censor. Although, officers of government do check and balance but this whole vicious circle is a not ending circle.
Why this is also so me? Like yeah as I get older I prefer to stay in bed rather than to witness the so called fireworks. Just like you I get used to this and it fit me I guess it's because I am aware already of what those things are. I agree, the last time I scrolled down to my account on fb app I saw a sad post linking the fireworks why those lovely birds died, which is so sad. Reality is sadness because people know what possibilities the outcome maybe, but still does. Anyway happy new year. By the way im new here.
