Trapped By Scars!!!

We at some point in life might have had that ugly moment that left us with scars, marks we don't ever want to talk about...

The soul mind body and spirit scream but we camouflage as chameleons do, feigning perfection where there was none, just to keep the truth away.

We say to ourselves; After all, everyone has skeletons in their cupboards why should I let mine out first!!!

We hide our faces in fake beauty, sealing our scars so that it becomes impossible for anyone to see.

we are caught up in the middle of perfectionism, covering up, patching up, and sealing up. Be careful not to let the world know what we've been through.

we have become a people who have mastered the skill of "panel beating"

The scars meant to heal others we have kept away from them.  We deprived men, women, and children that should have seen the scar and drawn strength and wisdom from it.

We have traded our healing for the prison and exchanged our freedom for oppression. We have now become TRAPPED!!!

Trapped by the scars that should represent our freedom from pain. Trapped by the fears of what the scars represent. Trapped by the feigned perfectionism in our societies. Trapped by the scar.

We are trapped( entangled, imprisoned,) by nothing. You could say I don't know what 'that scar' represents in your life which is true, but let me share with you;

The scar represents pain in the past and healing in the present. A scar tells you a story that once upon a time there was a wound, but it is healed and it no longer hurts or bleeds.

A scar tells you right here where I lay, was a painful wound that was uncomfortable, but it's gone already.

A scar tells you a story.

A scar represents healing and painless Ness. Unfortunately, we have refused to let the scar remind us of the healing, rather we have become comfortable thinking about only the wound and pain when we see the scar.

The scars that we should boldly flaunt have become an unpleasant ordeal to us, it is made a top-notch secret that no one should know or talk about, not even our loved ones.

No wonder we have repetitional falls from generation to generation, it becomes a pattern of repetitive identical falls, and one vice becomes generational.

Ohh!!! If only these scars were taken intentionally, it could have prevented the stereotypic generational falls...

It's a repetition of unpleasant patterns because we are afraid to talk about the scars, the ugly histories.

Speaking would have saved our children and their children, but no, everyone chose the deadly silence, forcing everyone to learn from their own mistakes.

Look where that has landed us?.everyone makes the same mistakes and we say it's better?

Something is certainly wrong. I think that one man's mistake if properly learned and intentionally taught to the younger generation could save generations the pain of falling and getting hurt continually.

I know 'that scar' was once painful but it's healed now, it is time to expose the scars, breathe the fresh air of grace, let our children see, let them ask questions, let's discuss the foolish choices that landed us in deep trouble.

Talk about the scar, it's just history.

You have to love the next generation enough to let them in on your once bad past let us know so we can grow and escape the fall.

I know the scar can save us from the fall

No longer trapped. We are free!!! Free men and women. We'll let the people see and learn. We break loose.

Talking about the scars might bring tears but it is worth it. Your story could save someone a lifetime of regrets.
