Childishness
Childishness is the character and attitudes displayed during childhood.
It is often said that he who graduates from childhood to adulthood, should kill a goat and call for ceremony, because childhood comes with lots of foolish behaviours.
In the picture above for instance who among you will say he/she is not guilty of the childish act above?
Please, don't claim I too know here, be honest.
I'm glad to have graduated into adulthood, what about you?
Freedom or Wealth
Which of the two is more appealing to you?
If you are to choose between food/wealth and freedom, what choices will you make?
Freedom is the absence of interference over ones personal decision on matters of personal concern and opinions on external affairs. To be free is to have the ability to do or act as you please without any for of intimidation or harassments. Freedom gives you the power to live as you please.
Wealth is a condition of man's well-being, in riches, prosperity, joy and happiness. It give you pleasure, gives you fame, and give you power to get things done even fast.
If the choice of freedom gives you the ability to own yourself, while you could be made wealthy working for yourself, but you have the opportunity to be a wealthy servant of another man, doing what pleases him at all times, even if that which pleases him could endanger your life, your family and your community, what will be your choice, to be free and decide things for yourself or to be wealthy in slavery, doing the will and wishes of your lord?

Rape and Polygamy
In 1779, 3rd President of the United States of America, Thomas Jefferson proposed a bill that punished male rapist with castration.
Bill 64 reads, '' Whosoever shall be guilty of rape, polygamy, or sodomy with man or woman shall be punished, if a man, by castration, if a woman, by cutting thro' the cartilage of her nose a hole of one-half diameter at the least ''.
It is so surprising, that there was a time when it was actually a crime to practice polygamy in the world, and even in one of the centres of modern civilization like USA.
But today, even same-sex marriage (Homosexuality) is not a crime but a right in this same country USA.
Is the world really advancing in civilization or in immortality?
Succession the key to greater achievement
English Physicist Joseph J. Thomson (1856-1940) was awarded the 1906 Nobel Prize for Physics by demonstrating that electrons were particles.
However, his Son, George P. Thomson (1892-1975), proved his Father wrong that electrons were in fact waves. He was also awarded the Nobel Prize for physics, in 1937.
This indicates the importance of continuity and succession. Many rich Parents today want their children to enjoy life, while many hardworking poor and middle-class Parents want their children to get rich and not struggle in life them. But only a few, thinks in the direction of nurturing a successor for his/her profession from among their children.
Succession and continuity are the keys to greater achievement.
Idi Amin Dada
In 1977, when Britain broke diplomatic relations with Uganda, Idi-Amin declared he had defeated the British and added ''CBE''(Conqueror of the British Empire) to his titles.
''His Excellency, President for life, Field Marshall, Alhaji, Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, CBE, Lord of All the Beast of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular''.
Those were his titles.....
He was a dictator.
Abebe Bikila
Ethiopia's Abebe Bikila was the first African to win an Olympic gold medal and the first man ever to win two Olympic marathons, 1960 and 1964.
Bikila won a gold medal and set a world record while running barefoot at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, Italy. He then bested his own record at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Mansa Musa
