ANTIBIOTIC resistance is involved in environmental pollution!

Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness as a result of using antibiotics even in colds and uncontrolled and uncontrollable fever without a doctor's advice. The word anti means the opposite and the word bio means life. That means antibiotics usually work against bacteria.

Beneficial bacteria in the body are often killed as a result of indiscriminate use of antibiotics. As a result of the use of additional antibiotics, the PATHOGEN(those who are unfamiliar to the body, i.e. those whose entry causes disease in the body) is recognizing the antibiotic and the subsequent antibiotic is no longer working. This is why you have to use high class antibiotics day by day.

However, another aspect to be disappointed is that antibiotics not only lose their effectiveness due to excessive use but also due to environmental pollution. There are several human pathogens that develop antibiotic resistance. Overuse is not the only reason. Human activities like agriculture and combustion of fossil fuels also play a role in this.

Through Genome Sequencing, scientists at the University of Georgia have found a profound link between the presence of heavy metals in the environment and the loss of antibiotic efficacy.

Heavy metallic soils contain high levels of certain bacteria that are associated with antibiotic-resistant genes. Some of the notable bacteria are Acidobacteriaoceae, Bradyrhizobium and Streptomyces, which work against the antibiotics Vancomycin, Bacitracin and Polymyxin. These antibiotics are used to heal wounds in the human body.

Bacteria contain antibiotic resistance genes that can cause resistance to many drugs at once. This is a very strong defense system. This is because this immune system can build resistance against antibiotics as well as heavy metals.

When antibiotic resistance genes are found in the soil, metal resistance genes are also found. Among the metals against which this system can be developed are Arsenic, Copper, Cadmium and Z. That is, microorganisms are developing new strategies and defense systems over time to protect themselves.

We should get more idea about how the antibiotic is changing its form over time. Because it can affect our drinking water and food and ultimately health.

Antibiotics are abused in here because consumer just take it without doctors prescription. If ever it is prescribed, they are not taken completely within the time period it should be taken
