What Scammers Do Using Your Screen & Info

Even our cryptocurrencies are being targeted by them not just your banks or e-wallets.

This blog can be considered as Part 2 of their different styles in deceiving people to get any form of money/investment and here is my previous blog Part 1 https://read.cash/@SuperJulalaine/spying-on-me-i-gave-my-ip-to-hackers-1843b482.

Upon watching few more videos, old and new of our friends scambaiters (kuddos to them), the scammers have variety of ways on how to get fund from you.

One important thing about it:

They must have access in your phones or gadgets and the first step is to send you disturbing notifications via

  • Email

  • Text/ Voice/ Voicemail

  • Social medias sms (chat)

Link with sms like this

"Someone was trying to steal or scam your bank/crytpocurrencies and you were charge for XXX$. Please contact our customer support for further assistance."

If you will call them and open their links, they will have full access (remote viewing) to your screen and they will see what you're doing or typing there. They already have your datas.

They can manipulate the true website (e.g. amazon, online stores, crypto wallets etc.) and change the amount/transaction history in your accounts for a while: as you are viewing it with their instructions. In your end it may appear true but the page was already manipulated.

Once view it will go back to it's original page (where there was really no transactions happened and you have the same balance). This happens only in your screen where they can "hack" and use different tools to deceive you and it never happens in the system of the true website.

Normally you will be alert and ask for help knowing that someone stole your account balance after you receive their notif.

Whatever they will command you to do after you called them, you'll obey because you are in panic mode, that's a technique because you are not in the right mind knowing that you were scammed and once they "processed and refunded that amount back to you", the scammers will say a big amount was "overrefunded to your account and they will lost his or her job if you don't return the over refunded money"- that is the money they will scam from you. They will either ask you to buy gift cards from stores (good thing they are now aware at stores), ask you to send the money back via postal, or withdraw it from your bank and never tell the banker about the reason and send it with different options back to them.

They will guilt trip you, over power and speak blatantly- this is not a normal customer service tone.

Be alert but not anxious friends, stay calm and do not let them run the show. Stay in your right mind and be critical about the situation.

Contact directly your bank-crypto wallets- e wallets- online stores where "it happened" and not those scammers customer support acting as if legit.

Most scambaiters advice the victims to contact the service provider directly or download the original app and chat or contact them there.

Always verify and DYOR from your service provider.

We must be aware of this style since you might have relatives or friends around the globe that will be contacted by this rude, demanding, unethical scammers in their gadgets. They call Americans, they call Germans and anyone they can.

These scammers do celebrate their "success" by partying and rewarding their employees. What for?

I might be laughing in that scene where they are proud of their jobs and giving rewards/gifts to their best employees- best scammers, because they look so innocent in greediness.

Some actually have certificates and masters degree from their call centers 😂. What the heck, may they take a break!

I hate them frauding others and that is not the situation I was laughing for. Their belief on what they're doing is what makes it a big joke and "movie".

They celebrate what they're doing?

It will always be beautiful to celebrate someone's achievement but this kind of behaviours don't.

Some workers there do it because of no good opportunities and very tight poor situations and scambaiters even help them but most scammers are greed and spend the hard-earned money of their victims to unreasonable luxuries.

That's unacceptable. Just to look rich and proud around their friends and family (which may not know it) they are ready to deceive their fellowmen.

Bad ego. Bad flesh.

Even our crypto coins that are just starting in businesses can be scam by them (to think that most of it are still struggling😅- here comes a scammer).

They can access our crypto sites and make stories about it on your screen just to steal your beloved crypto coins.

Be vigilant. Do not give in easily to their convincing text/emails and tone of voice.

Some of them are Indians but they also scam other Indians. I also receive links here in Philippines from our locals and you will see that with different numbers they have almost the same messages.

Image 1 with email
Image 2 with the same pattern of email and different phone number
Wow I can claim 270,000 php or 4,811 $ by registering?

Just in case you unknowingly open or click their links, uninstalled any of those apps and reboot your gadgets and your datas will be safe.

Always consider the information you are going to share online.

Do not be over anxious because the good guys are also here, they are actually scattered around the globe, ready to help you in times of need.

Here's cheering on you in being alert yet calm with "suspicious" notifs,

Every time that I will be seeing these kind of numbers on my messaging app, I just ignore it coz I know that government agencies will not contact you in the form like this. But since most people especially those oldies do not have enough knowledge to know whether it is fake or not, it is best to educate them. I like this article sis, congrats. you analyze it clearly.

Tama mas kinokontak nila ang oldies pero mabuti at marami ng "hackers" na inaalarm sila lalo pa yong mga walang wala din. Salamat sis.

Scammers are indeed everywhere. I have also received different types of messages stating that I won something. Of course it won't deceived me anymore as I am already aware of some scammers work. They are really making money from a disgusting option.

Winning without any means why you got it is really suspicious. If you join a raffle, tickets etc, it might be. Stay alarm and critical about those links.

I also receive a lot of text and calls from scammers telling me that I am a beneficiary of COVID-19 allowance by the government but I have never fallen for any of that, I always know it's all a scam

Yes brother unless otherwise it came directly from your local or national officers, dont fall as prey to those deceivers. Most of them are not innocent at all. They do it again and again.
