Childish Vs. Childlike : Which Is The Mind Of Christ?

Thinking of evil thoughts are childishness.

Thinking of pure thoughts like that of Philippians 4:8 is childlikeness.

Jesus said rephrase "Let the children come to me, for to them belongs the kingdom of God".

Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind. Source

20 Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults. Source

Be innocent as dove and wise as serpent.

I personally believe that whatever is not of Love-based thinking is our childishness, where evil thoughts are lurking us & when we were not yet fully matured in our faith of Christ & His commandments. Acting and doing wicked things is also a result of such thinking. Remember the story of the Prodigal Son?

Jesus in my own perspective was talking & welcoming those children who are innocent in thinking and doing evil stuffs. I guess we don't need to elaborate those things anymore.

Childishness is when we are still toss of our own lusts and desires without considering what God says, what He wills.

I don't know the will of God for you but you'll know it cause He is fully present in men, if men will allow to hear His voice & not just their own.

We've been there when we still follow our own desires, our lower mind and carnality push us to do so but being saved in our hearts and minds from our natural bloodline or family tree is one of the most exciting part of our earthly & spiritual journeys into the perfect, pleasing will of heavens.

How Does It Feels To Have The Mind Of Christ?

Childlikeness on the other hand is the matured path of thinking. The love-based way of living and "faithing". Childlike thinking is knowing the evil and the good, understanding and discerning which is God's way, God's will and applying it personally into our lives as the Lord don't force us to live as slaves of sins and death but as His Sons & Daughters.

This is the FIRSTBORNS paradigm thinking, where God desires become ours, and ours are His. Where the Holy Spirit becomes the guide of men and not just his spirit or the lower spirits in the pit.

The Childlike Mind is of Christ, it's as innocent like the dove who hates wicked, lustful, malicious thoughts and wise as serpent who loves peace towards thy neighbor and thy selves. Why would your neighbor hate you if you don't snatch their belongings or partners? Why would you hate your neighbor if they don't think of war or malicious thoughts about you? Why would you hate your neighbors if they don't wish you harm and trouble? Maturity of Christ and the forgiveness if they do so...

Having the mind of Christ let us expose our darknesses, as in darknesses into His light and we thank God for giving us Jesus as our highest priest, defender and consultant in heaven.

This Childlike Mind make us realize that we are saved from the stricter laws and of our family tree curses.

May you always be nourish of pure, pleasing, clean, lovely, honorable and excellent thoughts. If we fall back, the good news of heaven is that Christ is always here to defend us from our errors.

In mind, body, spirit be Childlike who loves innocence, wiseness and peace. Be one with the matured Christ.
