Now is the planting season! Look what we got from the market today! Do you think these tiny peppers are sweet or spicy? Mmmm I fried some of them for supper. They were so good! I asked hubby what are the top 3 vegetables and fruits in BG. Here you go: For vegetables, locals like peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. For fruits, apples, grapes, and plums. Then I started to think how about in the Philippines? We do have lots of tropical fruits and variety of vegetables. I think the number one is moringa leaves (malunggay) especially if you live in the village, you can get them for free. Everyone has a moringa tree. Sitaw is also famous ( long beans ) and kangkong (water spinach) And for fruits Oh, I love mangoes, bananas and of course pineapples. We export them too. Mahal mga tropical fruits dito, ginto huh. I don't know the TOP but I think USA is known for apples from Washington state, peaches from Georgia, orange from Florida, and avocados from California. Although I don't know if avocado are a fruit or a vegetable.
Oh yes the same in PH we do have lots of islands 7,640 and each island produces different fruits and vegetables (depending on soil and climate) Oh yes, Tropicana juice from Florida :):) Avocado is maybe a fruit :) Thanks for dropping by

Mahal pala ang tropical fruits dyan. Imported ata eh. Yung coconut isa din yun sa mga top fruits na produce dito.

Ano po BG? Mas mura talaga pag puro local bilhin at yung mga nakapanahon no sis... Dito uso na ang mangga, watermelon, walang katapusang saging at papaya dahil whole year yan ehehe
Bulgaria sis pag mga seasonal veggies at fruits mura sis minsan mas mura pa dito kaysa sa pinas mahal ang papaya, mangga dito sis ginto :(
