The Angel and the Gambler

First of all I have to say that I had problem with my Internet connection, and because of that I could not write any articles, but meanwhile I had some very interesting ideas and I was thinking about some very importan topics.

A couple days ago I saw the video for the song by Iron Maiden called 'The Angel and the Gambler', I have not heard it in a while and it made me think about some very important things. How do people become gamblers, but not on the table, in real life? How do people lose what is truly important for them? How do people lose those who are important to them?

The song is not all about what I will talk about in this article, but it is very interesting.

There is one very interesting proverb that says, do not be sorry, be careful, because, if you are careful you won't have to be sorry ever.

If you do not become a gambler you will never lose your angels.

Do not play with things that are not toys and do not ever play with anybody, because noone is a toy. People are not there for you to play with them. You cannot bet on people you love and you cannot 'put on the table' people you love, and be sure that you will never lose them, because you will.

Many people put people they love on the table, and first time they do not lose them, and that gives them courage to try again and again and again... One more hand one more spin. Every hand is the last one, you promise to yourself, but deep down you know that it is not the last one. You know that you will keep playing, but you are pretty sure that you cannot lose, and once when you lose that is pretty shocking for you, you did not expect that, you do not know what to do, you cannot handle the situation.

Do not lead yourself to that. Appreciate people areound you. Love them, truly love them and respect them. While they are there. Always know that you can lose them. They can leave, they can find someone who will know how precious they are and who will not put them on the table.

Everyone can be replaced, always know that and always be careful. Of course, they have to respect you to, because you can be the angel too. Always know that you also do not have to stay with people who are not careful with you. You do not have to stay where you are not respected, you do not have to stay where you are not loved.

That is why all the people always have to know that they are supposed to be careful, they have to be careful. Unless you want to be all alone, you have to take care of other people. You have to show them how important they are to you.
