Personally, I used Malunngay leaves in treating my pimples, and based on my experience, it really helped me reduce the redness of my pimples, and it really helped me heal my pimples.
Before sharing what I did, I want to say that it is not professional advice. I have just watched it online and tried it since I am tired of using different products. Also, we have different types of skin. So, if it does not work for you, you may try other ways. Anyway, this process won't cost you even a single cent.
So, what you need in this process?
Malunggay Leaves
Of course, this is the main ingredient for this method. I recommend using fresh ones. Also, just pick what you just need. Do not get many leaves because you will only apply it once a day, thrice a week, or once a week.
Mortar and pestle
This is used to pound the leaves and get its juice, which will be used to apply in your face, especially on those spots with big and red pimples.
Patience
This is a must in this process. You need to have it for better results. So, if you do not have it, you can find other ways. Anyway, if you can be patient in a different skincare routine you have tried, why not with it?
So, how to do it?
First
Get the Malunngay leaves and wash them carefully. Remove the leaves and put them in a strainer. Just wait and let the excess water flow down.
Second
Get the mortar and pestle. Clean it thoroughly. You can also put plastic inside it so that it won't be stained by the juice of Malunggay later. Put the Malunggay leaves inside the mortar and pound it using the pestle. Stop when you think that the juice of the leaves is already present.
Third
Wash your face and make sure it is clean. Apply the juice to your face. You can use clean cotton pads and apply them to your face as if you were applying a toner. You can even use the pounded leaves to apply to your face. After it, look in the mirror. You will notice that you look like Princess Fiona because of the color of your face. But that is okay. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes or when you feel that the juice of Malunggay in your face, already dried up.
Fourth
You can now wash your face using clean water. You have the option to use mild soap for cleaning it or not. Then wipe your face with a clean cloth and voila! Your face will look better.
Try this method for at least one week to see better results. In my case, I am using it every night. I hope it will work for you, too!
I haven't tried this one. Good thing I read about this because this malunggay plant is always available in our place.
