Have ever wished you could lay your hands on a time machine?? And what was the reason behind such wish???.
I know in life, we sometimes wish we had a time machine mostly because of regret. Either because of a missed opportunity, or to stop an event from taking place.
But in the aspect of stopping an event from taking place, do you know that some things were meant to happen in our life either to teach us a lesson, or to give room for better things to come into our life's.
Spending your entirely wishing you had a time machine will only distract you from the future. The things you are trying to change are part of your past, the past should be left in the past. What you should be doing, is arranging your life and making sure that the future you won't need a time machine. The only time I wished I could go back in time, was when I heard about the starting of bitcoin. I wished I could be a part of the early adopters. But after sometime, I came to understand that it's not too late to acquire bitcoin or other coin.
Meaning it's never too late to make a change in your life. Don't let your past define your future self.
When you miss an opportunity, you should create another, and not spend your entire life feeling sulky about the lost opportunity.
Life wasn't meant to always go smoothly, we are meant to encounter challenges which teaches us, and trains us for the future.
No matter how many regrets you have about your past, you will still find out that, there are still some beautiful moments that you wouldn't want to change. Those are what you should be focusing on and not the sad moments.
And besides, being able to go back in time, can't change your life, it will only leave it messed up, because, we make mistakes to learn. If we don't make mistakes, how would we learn.
There is nothing like a perfect life, people who you think have such life, had the roughest, childhood.
Stop thinking of yesterday and start thinking of today. You can't change what's already happened. What you should be thinking of is a way, of making your future self never wish for a time machine.
